[Scare Effect 312]

Chaotic used her magic to teleport away from the Stallion. she was gasping for air. "No this is not a dream, I traveled here from my home dimension, I am here to get your help with a danger worse than the one we had a year ago." Chaotic answered gasping for air.

"No this is not a dream, I traveled here from my home dimension, I am here to get your help with a danger worse than the one we had a year ago."

 

Another quest.  Another danger.  But not another dream - this was real.  

 

He had been through hell for the past year and a half.  He had seen things nopony should see.  He had spent so much time walking that his horseshoes were worn.  He had watched one of his only friends slowly descending into what seemed to be either depression or madness... maybe both.  He had lived by slogging through the roughest parts of town.

 

And now, he had to do it again, it seemed.

 

"Worse?  Worse than destroying the world?  Are you serious!?  Do you have any idea what it felt like to be simply unceremoniously tossed to the four winds and left behind?  Do you understand what I've been through for the last year of my life?"

 

He leaned against the bar and pushed aside the three empty mugs that were sitting there.  He began thumping his hoof on the bar-top for emphasis as he spoke.

 

"And where were you in all of that?  I called for you!  There were times I cried about you because I missed you!  I've only ever had two friends, and I still dunno if Rave even considers me a friend!  Friends are supposed... s'posed to..."

 

Here came the waterworks.

 

"... s'posed to... watch out... for each other..."

 

As he spoke, the anger leaked from his voice like air from a black balloon.  Eventually, all one could hear was sadness as he simply, sorrowfully asked, "... where were you?"

"Come on don't cry Dax i left you because i didn't want you to suffer my fate of being an outcast among a world full of lunatics who try to kill me every second. as for where i was i was looking for my mother she vanished years ago. and i am so sorry if i knew you wanted me to stay i would have, and i could have stopped your suffering for that year," Chaotic said trying to help her friend to stop crying.

"But I'm ALREADY an outcast!  If we outcasts can't stick with each other, we have nopony!"

 

Yes, apparently Dax needed a good cry.  So cry he did.  Wet, sloppy sobs wrenched from him.  Tears poured down his pained muzzle.  He threw his hooves around his trenchcoat and smothered his crying into it.

 

It took a few minutes.

 

Eventually, he seemed to work through the tears on his own.  He sniffled as he sat up, and he looked pitiful.  He gazed at Chaotic, seemingly resigned to whatever fate had in store for him.  He waited to see what she would say to him.

"yeah your right and after this i will stay here. Now i need your help i believe an invasion is coming soon the lunatics from my world are about to attempt to take over this world and we need to stop them before they succeed." Chaotic said but she began to feel bad for asking a friend to help her after the pain she caused him. "But you don't have to help because what i did to you was horrible."

"Scare... if it's something that has to be done, there's no shame in asking for help."

 

Dax's tears mingled with the smile he started growing.

 

"Besides, that's what friends do... and I should strive to lead by example.  Chaotic, not only do I forgive you, I still hold you as my frie-eeeeeeehhhhhhghhhhhggggggggh!"

 

Suddenly, he threw up.  It was everywhere; the bar, the stools, the three empty cider mugs, the trenchcoat, and Chaotic, as well as himself.

 

"... friend..."

 

He collapsed right there onto the bar, snoring before his head even thumped down on the filthy bar-top.

Chaotic looked at Dax as he was sleeping then she noticed she was covered in vomit. "Gross." Chaotic said giving a light laugh before she used her magic to clean herself and Dax which attracted  A lot of strange looks from everypony in the bar. "Well bye now." She said before she teleported herself and Dax to an old mansion on the hill.

"I don't fear her, she just is a crazy manic...well more than us from what others would say" she said walking out with Quake "so an old friend? Do you think how I think it is? Well even if I'm wrong then checking that old mansion cant hurt can it?" she asked hypothetically before she readied her wings "I swear if I see her in a prime position" she slid her wing across her throat with a "sheeeeck"

Quake just shook her head at the motion her 'friend' made."Okay killer let's go see her then."

Chaotic was watching Dax as he slept peacefully."Sorry I wasn't there for you and Rave but if I knew you needed my help i would have been here in a heartbeat and helped you in anyway possible." Chaotic said to the sleeping form of Dax.

Rave walked around the room, in deep thought. He could not get rid of his hatred, of his pain or of his anger for all that had happened. The desert was just another wound on his pride and his way of thinking. 

 

He walked around for a bit more, then he stopped. "Gah, I need a drink. I need to get this out of my head". 

 

With that, Rave went out of his home, slamming the door behind him and he started running through the dark alleyways.

Quake and Raindrop arrived at the old mansion seeing a light on. "Looks like someponies home. Now Raindrop we have to be carefull she is too powerful to attack head on we need a plan before we try to even injure her let alone kill her."

Chaotic yawned and looked at the clock twelve thirty in the morning,  Ok I will find Rave in the morning when i am not so tired. With that thought Chaotic laid on the floor and fell asleep.
