Siren Theories and Thoughts

So lately I've been thinking about the sirens... and I have some thoughts as well, so I'd like to share them with you!

 

*Where did the sirens get their amulets?

Welllllll... I think it was given to them as a prize. The crystals at first had no power at all when they probably did something on accident that made the gems with dark power with the ability to be sirens. So they gave up their good and became evil to rule the world. But since they're in the human world, they can still possibly collect power to have more magic

 

*Do the sirens have a pony form?

If Derpy does then why not?

 

*Should the sirens be dead now?

I think no, because when they were banished, they were probably the age of a kid, but they gained more and more power over the years and grew up to be a teenager when they could do their own things.

 

*Where do the sirens live?

I think they would live in a cave near the Highschool because they're sirens, right? But mostly, they would gain power to grow their cave.

 

*Is Sonata really evil?

No, I don't think that. Sonata was probably the one who didn't like being evil as much as the others did. So she partly likes being evil and partly not. I think the reason she jokes and lot is that she would get her mind out of being evil, because maybe her amulet wasn't fully functional of the dark magic. When I saw her sing, the dark magic took over her because of the power. But when she wasn't, she was a normal girl.

 

*Are there male sirens?

Probably not, because mermaids are like sirens, and if there was, well, end of the world

 

*That ending... (Amulets break, boooo!, yeah)

I feel bad for the sirens because now they're embarrassed because they lost... maybe except for Sonata, she seems happy and all. And then Twilight picks up the broken pieces, yes, but why couldn't you chase after them and ask them and everything? It would much more sense if Twilight went after them and asked them a couple.

 

 

 

So what do you guys think? Tell me your thoughts!

Ok, so at the end of Rainbow Rocks, Twilight said something like "Without they're amulets, they're just three normal teenage girls." My theory is that they are gonna come back to the school, or at least Sonata because I feel she was good all along.

They were either born with them, or got them as some sort of coming of age thingy

 

*Do the sirens have a pony form?

Maybe, but for now all we have are their siren forms

 

*Should the sirens be dead now?

It's a light-hearted children's program, so I doubt they're dead

 

*Where do the sirens live?

They live in the streets. Or they probably have a house. Again, knowing it's a children's program, it's probably the latter

 

*Is Sonata really evil?

She's evil alright. I don't see why so many people try to say otherwise. Just because she's an adorable goofball doesn't make mean she's any less evil than Aria or Adagio

 

*Are there male sirens?

Highly doubt it. Sirens were known for alluring sailors who were, for the most part, usually male. I don't know about my mythology as much as others but I don't think there were ever any male sirens. If there are then either it was a creative freedom or I know less about Greek mythology than I let on

I think that the amulets were given to them by someone in the Human World, and we will possibly see from whom in Legend of Everfree, which is probably going to be about Human World Magic. I'd like to see Hydia from the original MLP movie be the one to have given them the amulets, I love it when they bring back things from the older gens.

Hold on to your britches, because those sirens are the founders of Equestria: In descending rank, Commander Hurricane, Chancellor Puddinghead, and Princess Platinum.

 

Adagio (Hurricane) calls herself "the leader", but Aria (Platinum) begs to differ. I am not explaining Sonata. You should get your head checked if need to explain anything about that imbecile. (Sorry, she dissed the bad guy, so I harp on her)

 

Reasons why: Adagio is a jerk to her fellow sirens and flat out called them idiots. Aria has platinum stars in her hair, as well as acting like she should be the lead vocal. I repeat. I'm not explaining "her". Put two and two together!

 

Quoting the episode: "Earth ponies are numskulls!" "Pegasi are brutes!" "Unicorns are snobs!"

 

In fact, Adagio (the Pegasus of the group) is a brute, as she grabbed Aria's arm to get her attention. Aria (The Unicorn) is a snob, nothing more. And... need I say more.

 

I really have nothing against Sonata, but I have no need to explain anything. she did it during her first minute of screen time.

 

I'd say about how this happened, but I'm still working on it.

I like to think the Dazzlings have a secret lair somewhere filled with loot and provisions. Considering her cunning and intelligence, I doubt Adagio didn't think to provide for herself. Honestly, the Siren's cant have just been singing at people to let them sleep somewhere for 1000 years, that wouldn't work and it'd look suspicious, not to mention their powers aren't at full strength unless they feast well on tons of conflict.

 

As for Sonata being evil, I don't think so, she's probably just going with the flow since the other two are the only Sirens she knows, not to mention they're immortal(formerly) like her. She'd probably get super depressed if she left them and made new friends only for them to keep dying and wondering why she has stayed a teenager while they grow old and die.

 

Anyway, my own theory is that the Amulets the Dazzlings use were created in the Human world to give them back their powers, since Starswirl sent them to the Human world because, allegedly, he thought they'd lose their powers there. I suspect they will reappear in Legend of Everfree and we'll meet the person who gave them their amulets. I'm hoping it's Hydia from the original MLP movie, since I'm a sucker for returning old characters and I want to see Human magic users.
