Drone smiled slightly at Twitch then at Emerald," It's no contest for my affection."he chuckled and he closed his eyes in bliss as he was scratched,her soft feathers,they felt like soft little clouds,yet Twitches mechanical feelers were hitting the god spot as well,he then looked at them,a feather entered his nostril slightly and he jerked his head back,he looked around for something to sneeze into,since he couldn't use his appendages besides-HIS WINGS!! He reached his own wings around and sneezed into them,he sighs softy and smiles," That was nicee~"he said softly,a real smile on his face.

Already screwing up - okay, just keep it quiet, and you'll be fine.

 

Grant was embarrassed, but he sort of expected that he'd make a number of mistakes; he wasn't exactly flesh and blood - forget about the fact he wasn't even a pony - but he hoped he hadn't made a poor impression.  Between the scratching, the bug-out and the poor vocal tracking, he sort of wondered if he hadn't made a bad impression already.

 

Twitch simply nodded, and carried the professor along.  Grant just sat back and watched things unfold.

Emerald chuckled at Drone's comments, she then moved very close to his ear whispering. "I think i'm winning that anyway." She then moved back to her original position, "my apologies to you Twitch maybe metal and fluid is a good as bones and blood even when it comes to nose scratching." she made a simile towards them. "oh yeah I forgot, I have to go meet somepony, please look after him for me Twitch." She pulled off from the group, and left.

Where is that other robo pony? She spotted a robot fitting the description, she approached him turning back on the 'I'm the boss here act', "you there, are you Indicus?"

@, Indicus watched as the pony mare approach him then asked if he was Indicus, "Yes I'm Indicus, you must be one of the ponies in charge of the University's security. Seeing as this is not a social call what do you need me to do ma'am?" Marcus asked wanting to move the conversion along.

"in charge of university's security that is cute". she laughed, then leaned in closer to him so no other pony could hear. "Your misinformed human, and I surprised nopony, sorry no one that's correct? Informed you of who I am." She stood tall and stared at him intently, "I am Emerald Bolt Captain of the Royal Guard, commander in-chief of the E.U.P. why were you not informed? Anyway I'm here to see that you have settled in and you accommodation is ok, as well as to remind you that your not to reveal your true identity. So make a good back story for yourself, study on the internet and make it convincing."

Marcus sighed and whispered back, "Sorry ma'am the briefing told us only that some of the Equestrian brass knew about this project but not who they were. Why? I have not a damn clue, guess in case of extremest capture. Anyway I understand the perimeters of the op and have started on a back story, that much was covered." "You're equestrian literature knowledge, is impressive I do say who ever gave you instruction did a good job. I have some ponies I want you to meet, one of them is not well at the moment but you'll be seeing them in and around campus so best get to know them, follow me Indicus." Emerald gestured for him to follow.

Emerald and Indicus started to look for the group of ponies she was with starting from she left.

@, Marcus nodded an followed. "Yes the teachers I had before my arrival here were quite good and other parts I studied myself out of curiosity and genuine interest." Marcus was quite curious on why these ponies she was talking about were being visited in particular, from his guess they were probably friends, something that he could use himself in this new world as he gathered information on the magic field around the planet for study and use in a solution to let humans visit their pony neighbors without android proxy's.

Anna gave Professor Drone a look, one of annoyance. She knew what was wrong with the spine, and it wasn't cracked. Or atleast she didn't think so. What would he possibly be doing that'd cause such trauma? Pony vertebrae were thick and nearly indestructible to begin with! These were metal, a special alloy, that wouldn't just simply 'crack' under anything a normal professor, with a normal job would do.

 

"It's nothing more that a calibration that needs to be done. Don't even joke around it being anything more. I hope you realize I run a business where many ponies depend on me to keep their limbs in tact every day. I'm already behind schedule, and this is only going to make things even worse than they already are." Anna said with a tone. She seemed tired. She walked far enough ahead that she wasn't part of any of the nose scratching or anything, leading every pony towards her shop off campus.

 

Zeus finished his bottle about halfway there. They were on the edge of campus now, and on the sidewalk of a busy street. Anna took the empty bottle from her goal, and put it back in her saddle bag. While she was there, she took a pacifier and popped it in his mouth. Before getting his paci, he let out a nice big yawn... It was about time for nap time. Anna tightened the carrier Zeus was in, so that he was closer to her chest, and he could rest his head on her. Zeus quieted down and tried to drift off to sleep.

As Emerald and Indicus approached where she had left the group, with no pony of note in sight, wonder where they went? She looked around for some clue or other to where they may of gone. "Yes that's right Anna has a shop near here, let me see where it is on the internet map." Emerald pulled out her phone and looked up the shops location, not too far from there current location. "Follow me I have a good idea where they are going."

Emerald and Indicus were moving at a faster pace then what the others were and soon caught up near Anna's shop, "there they are those ponies over there. HAY PONIES BROUGHT A FRIEND OF MINE." Although associate of mine is more fitting.

Twitch's sensor packet gave the newcomer a casual scan-over... but it was Grant's eyes that looked the guest over more carefully.

 

I don't know... it's starting to feel like they're trying to surround me... maybe I need to try to hide myself a little better in the future, eh?  Still... let's see how these new ponies play out; no need to worry until proof comes up, right?  Right?

 

Twitch carried the professor up to the specified location he was told - Anna's workshop, he assumed - and waited to be told where to put Drone.

Marcus looked at the shop noting that it looked a bit like a mechanics garage but also knew about the lack of cars in Equestria so he figured it was a repair shop. Marcus shrugged he knew he would figure it out once he saw the sign and got a look inside. Then he put his attention on the ponies Captain Bolt mentioned noting one was carrying another, he noticed that the carrier was an android but more then likely with a actual consciousness downloaded into the memory matrix. The pony being carried seemed to be a cyborg with synthetic parts and actual flesh both on him, though he did not try to figure out why.

 

Marcus snapped out of his thoughts realizing he had said nothing for a minute since he was Introduced. "Hello every..pony, my name's Indicus, nice to meet the ponies that Emerald Bolt mentioned to me."

I spent the better part of four months practicing the word 'everypony'; THAT has got to be a human!

 

Sweat began trickling down Grant's cheeks, and he felt his stomach twisting.

 

Oh no... ohhhhhhhh no no no no nooooo... I have got to keep quiet; no telling what's going on under the hood with him.  Maybe he's hiding, like me?  Well, I won't spill the beans yet - there's gotta be a reason for him to be here.  Might not be a good reason for myself and Twitch, but...

 

Twitch blinked, his eyes finding Indicus and nodding to him.

 

"Ni-ni-ni-ni-nice to meet you, Indicus; I'm Twitch-itch-ch-ch.  This pile of pony on my my my forks is Professor Drone, a n d  t h i s  i s  Anna... and Zeuuuuuuus."

 

He kept moving, hoping the others wouldn't give him away.

Marcus nodded, "Nice to meet you Twitch." He fought off the urge to offer his hoof for a hand shake as he was used to. Marcus mentally cursed his pause between every and pony knowing it was a automatic thing to true ponies and hoped nobody would notice or take too much heed to it. He then continued to look around the area and as they got closer looked at the details he missed while first looking at the repair shop.
