general media Hologram tours of deseaced celebrities

I get that a celeb may still have an ongoing contract with whatever label they're under, at the time of their death, but throwing up a hologram of the person in order to keep touring and pulling in profit, rather than just collecting earnings fom whatever merch people continue to buy, after the celeb's death just seems disrespectful and shady.

But what are you guys' thoughts on hologram tours of deseaced celebs?

I don't know...holograms are not real people. It'll just be a farce and people will stop going to the tours. In fact...the company may even go bankrupt because of the lack of people going to the tours.

I agree with this, the dead should be respected. Anyone who goes to a live performance by a hologram that isn't seeing the real thing either, so technically it's not live, it's a recording of their voice with a fake version of them on stage, for what I'm guessing costs alot of money to go to. It's just another way for people who don't need anymore money to suck money out of others.

I'm not even sure that would be a viable business plan. Watching a hologram would be no different than listening to a recording, and while I haven't been to that many concerts in my life, I'm pretty sure watching someone perform live far exceeds listening to a recording that's been edited and sound corrected for public distribution. Buying a track off Itunes is much cheaper than buying a ticket to pretty much the exact same thing.
