general media Favorite commercial bombs/things that should've gotten more love than they did?

There's always those things that, despite getting rave reviews and fantastic critical reception overall, will usually bomb commercially from time to time, whether they be movies grossing poorly, getting poor TV ratings, or a game not selling much copies. 

 

And I'm pretty sure many of us have our own favorite movies/games/tv shows that you love but probably didn't get the recognition you felt they deserved.

 

With me being a big fan of most of Platinum's/Clover's games, I could easily fill this with a list of their games as they have a tendency to bomb with very very few exceptions(Metal Gear Rising), but the one that hurts the most is Wonderful 101. One of the best games on the Wii U, it feels like what would happen if Power Rangers and Viewtiful Joe and then had a baby with Pikmin, and Wonderful 101 came out of the mess, full of the insane over-the-top action that Platinum is known for. I always try to recommend this to every Wii U owner that I can think of. It's and incredibly fun game that more people should get to experience

 

[Sapphire Lightning 784]

Spacestation Silicon Valley for the N64. Almost nopony has heard of it, but it seriously was one of the best games I have ever played. I guess it was too unique for the mainstream. It didn't fit an already understood formula. It's also one of those games that you could just sit back and listen to the music, but then the gameplay was so engaging that I would end up listening to the great music and playing the game .

I love this movie so much but pretty much nobody except for hardcore Disney fans knows it exists. Since it was such a big box office bomb, Disney pretends it doesn't exist and one of my favourite princesses got the short end of the stick. You may be royalty, Eilonwy, but you ain't good enough for the Disney Princess title (according to Disney)

This album is awesome. It got a lot of positive reviews from critics, but it did not do well commercially, despite the fact that the songs Check Ya and Smack got a significant amount of airtime on rock radio stations.

There were quite a few Disney movies that I(along with my family) would mention. Treasure Planet, Atlantis: Lost Empire, and Meet the Robbinsons are the ones I can think of off the top of my head.
