You have formally been invited to The Ponyville Nightmare Night Festival.

 

 

 

Hey everypony! I invite you to join me as Blu Breeze on Nightmare Night for a party to celebrate Nightmare Moon. This is a Spice of Life roll play where everypony can get together, chat, and just get to know one another. I will be the DM, and with a special guest ’AmberDust’ as the Co-Hostess. This will be a great opportunity for newcomers to the Role Play World to meet everypony and socialize. Being new to role plays, myself, I’m looking forward to the outcome!

 

 

 

The party will be held in Ponyville’s Town Square. Your OC can be from any corner of Equestria though, so long as they don’t mind the travel. All are welcome to join and commute as much as you want.

 

 

 

To keep everything organized and understandable, I have just a few rules:

 

 

 

No villains, super powers, or powergaming, since I’d like to keep this as a spice of life role play. However, this is Nightmare Night, so you can dress your OC up as whatever you would like. It could be dressed as a villain, so long as you don’t have any evil intentions at the party. JIf you wish to play more than one character, that is fine, but try to do only as many as you can handle. I’d prefer to keep it at no more than 2, but if you want to try more, just PM me with your idea first so I can see if it wouldn’t be too much for anypony. (I myself will be playing 2 ponies. Both my OCs Blu Breeze and Silver Wing. Blu will be my main character as while Silver will appear later in on in the night. I advise that anyone using more than one character keeps the focus mainly on just one of them.)Please try to avoid run-on sentences, poor spelling and grammar, or lack/misuse of punctuation. Yes, your posts need to be legible. This rule comes courtesy of ’AmberDust’. XD I’d like to include a few mane characters in the story as well, especially Luna since this is her night. If anyone would like to apply as a canon character, post a mini roleplay sample in this thread as an application. If it’s accurate enough, I’ll accept. I don’t want there to be too many canon characters, though, since I would like to have everypony and their OCs involved as well.Please, no gore or NSFW.And the biggest rule, Have fun!

 

 

 

Like I said above, if you want your OC to be wearing a costume, I fully accept that and encourage it. Just a verbal explanation is perfectly fine, unless you really just feel like drawing it or having another form of visual reference to what they are wearing.

 

 

 

As this is my first hosted role play, I am more than open to ideas from anypony that has one. I was thinking of a costume contest, but after talking it over with a friend, we realized the complexity of judging something that you can’t really see so we sat that idea to the side for now. I’m planning on having game stands as well, so if anypony wants to have a particular game stand just let me know. I especially like the apple bobbing and the spider toss from the Nightmare Night episode, and was thinking of having that as part of the entertainment.

 

 

 

All you have to do to apply is post that you got the invite and want to attend. Just be sure to have a link to your OC profile or a small story as to who your OC is--that way everyone can see his/her personality. I will give it a week for everypony to gather up and prepare before the RP actually begins, so that no one is late or left out.

The official date of the festival will be on October 17th and will most likely continue until Nightmare Night Oct 31st

Remix will be most likely dressed in a sheet as a ghost and creep around scaring children with showers of candy,

Are alicorn OCs allowed? I very rarely get to RP as my alicorn character, Clover. Don't worry, she is not overpowered in the slightest.

@Moonlit yes there is no official close date to when u can join. And U are perfectly fine to use Moonlit Serenade. I will add her to the list. Im also sorry to everyone for having to wait so long on me to get it up. Ive had to do bits and pieces at a timefor the opening post because justlooking at a screen was making my nauseous. I will be posting the first post here in the next 10 minutes. Again im terribly sorry for the wait.

@@Moonlit, Just a little hint; putting in your post what another character is thinking, feeling or doing about your character is godmoding. You can describe your character in a way that gives off information about them, but not say what another character might think if they meet her. Just a friendly tip.
