With the gate stabilising, Specter forced the gate back into a state for deactivation. Creating a shock wave that could easily knock someone off of their hooves. "Gate shutdown successful, crisis averted. Commencing slow reboot in repair mode. Estimated time of completion: 32 minutes 17 seconds. That was close."

This breaks so much Stargate cannon it's not even funny.

Also, just to let you all know. This conflict in the gateroom means we'll be stating in Icarus for a little bit longer.

 

Orrrr I could cheat and make the attack happen now.

 

Let's have a vote! Who wants to stay on Icarus and build our characters more, and see what happens, and eventually leave. And who wants to be attacked and be flung to another universe in the process!

I just realised, I never explained Scarlett's mark to anyone. Not in rp, or on the rp page.

 

Her special talent is fine manipulation, that includes people and magic. Where here magical arsenal is limited, she more than makes up for it in utility and defensive spells.

 

Also, after an incident before this rp she decided to stop using magic. This whole gateroom fiasco is the only time she's used magic while on the Stargate Program. Everyone would have known her as the unicorn turned scientist with no magic.

Scarlett's suit runs on both, and if they're both supposed to be the same kinda tech then her spell would have recharged the suit.
