Good ways to start A YT off?

Hello Everypony! I really want to make animation pony videos like Ink Rose does (I've seen others but I can't remember them right now) and I was wondering how should I start it off? Should I start it with introducing my OCs? Should I make a ponysora or whatever for the main person? Should there be a series of something?? I don't really care at being "noticed" or becoming "Big" but I, at the very least, want a few people watching the videos. Not just making videos no one watches, if that makes any sense. Please get back to me ASAP on what you think would be best! :*

How much knowledge do you have in Video editing? are you a sony vegas guy? Premiere? 

Do you have a good mic? If not , a smart phone recording is acceptable. 

 

I'd suggest starting with a channel trailer.

I'm pretty good with editing, I have another channel for my personal stuff as well. I usually use iMovie or something of the sorts. And not at the moment, but hopefully soon.

T'was a suggestion, but you're right.

 

 

Screw the Trailer, Just do whatever you're comfortable with,

the most important thing is that you start.

Look at how some of the famous people on YouTube started, they just started posting videos for fun for there friends to watch and stuff, they weren't serious about it, and then over time you will start to realize something unique about you that stands out as a YouTuber.
