Agnes looked over at the...  rather large wizard.  Her grim smile was gone, replaced with a neutral expression.  She felt a slight chill up her arms (despite her right-arm being covered by a hand-hiding sleeve) as she looked him over.  Then she shifted her gaze toward Jake/Hyde.  "Right now, I have no idea which of you is the bigger idiot.  I just need you to go back inside, Hyde," she says in a lowered, matter-of-factly voice to Jake/(Hyde).

The healer looked over at her roommate.  Sympathy for her filled her mind, thinking, Don't blame you if you want to leave.  I think I'm going to have my hands full in a bit.

"Obviously a trap, I rather ignore the fool" Hyde thought , while biting off another chunk of the chicken's wing, his wretched smile still retained. 

 

"Oh, come on, Hyde!" Jake spoke from within their mind. "You're going to love it! and I think it will be very fun " his calm and cheerful tone urging his lupine friend to participate.

 

Hyde remained silent for a few moments and whispered in harsh tone "I'm not doing it"

 and just like that his body shifted back , the teeth and posture returning to a more human state.

 

"Guess I'll have to do it" Jake smiled calmly as he walked toward the magician. "I'm Jake by the way" he smiled looking up at the omega as he extended his bandaged hand for a shake.

Draco raised an eyebrow at the sudden commotion and sighed as he watched the con-like wizard,he then saw Jake/Hyde and looked slightly intrigued,but he shared the same emotions that Agnes had,entertained and slightly annoyed,he then switched his attention from the two to the veteran across the cafeteria,he looked at Agnes and slowly stood up going to dump his plate,he passed by her and he glanced at her for a moment as he passed,he dumped his plate and walked back the way he came,and sat at a different table than the rest,he sat there,laid back with his arms on the table as his feet were crossed together,looking at Alex and Jake.

He looks pleased, and happens to let a stray thought cross the telepathic field. This is going to be hilarious... He gestures towards his empty hands, as well as his collar.

"Now, all I need is a stick. Anyone got a stick or leaf? Don't worry, the power-suppressant collar is still on..." He smiles at the mention of the collar. He speaks to the staff lady, who's name he honestly can't remember. "How about you? I'm sure you'd like to keep these prisoners peacefully compliant, and good show is known to pacify an audience, just as a bad one is known to redirect the frustrations, and vent it on the performer..."

He knows he's laying it on thick, but that's kinda the point. At the very least, he'd get to embarrass this fool who insulted him. Since this is basically prison, he figured it was best to assert himself, if he wanted to get anywhere. Or, he could instigate a riot. That could be fun to watch, at least.

"I think I have an Idea" Jake calmly replied as he partly unrolled the bandages on his left arm all way to the elbow revealing horrible scars and disfigurement on the skin and muscle tissue. "You have to forgive the sight" Jake snickered as his muscles crept towards his  palm while the bones of the radius and ulna appeared to meld with the skin and thin out forming a bone-like rope connected to the now muscled hand. 

 

Jake's grappling "hand" lunges forward towards the lunch aisle as it grabs onto a leaf of lettuce from the salad servings then turns around and returns quickly towards him , the bones and flesh slowly warping back to their original shape. 

 

"Will this do?" Jake smiled as he offered the piece of produce towards his new friend. his deformed forearm still unbandaged.

Well then... This should prove entertaining... He grins, and reopens his wound with a quick bite, and gets ready to start with the spell. Because it's salad, it's only going to work so well... Let's see... Ah! Confusion Spell! This will be glorious!

" Now, I'll begin the show. I just have to finish up a few points of set-up!" He calls out to his captured audience. He starts inscribing an array of Illusionary magic, as well as a few bits of symbolism for specification. All that was left, was the designated target, and he didn't know this fool's name, nor did he trust himself to remember it. He turns to speak to the Jake/Hyde. "Do you have any problems with getting blood on you? I'm going to have to transcribe something on you."

Pythia nodded to her companions as they sat down. They were nice to her, so she considered them friends. She decided to address Jake's question and turned to the newbies, staring at them for a very long time. And as in staring, I mean... creepily staring. Pythia was aware she looked stalker-ish right now, but couldn't bring herself to care. She was probably going to get talked to by Louise for being overly creepy, again. After a while, she came to a conclusion. Before she was able to say that the newbies looked utterly normal, if with a bit more potential than most other newbies, she noticed the commotion between the wizard and Jake. She winced inside, knowing it wasn't going to end well. She kept on her emotionless facade, but patted Agnes on the back in a sympathetic matter. The stray thought the wizard let out in the telepathy spectrum wasn't helping.

 

She looked towards the wizard and narrowed her eyes. Best to stop this before it got worse. "And just WHAT are you doing?" Pythia growled at the wizard. "The prisoner you're harassing been here far longer than you. He has better control over his powers and has friends." She gestured to herself and Agnes. "Do you really want to make multiple enemies on your first day? I'd advise that you stop this childish tantrum over a simple insult and sit down. We are all prisoners here. And Jake, Hyde, er, whoever's in right now, please don't egg him on... we get into enough trouble here as it is." After her speech, Pythia opened up her book and continued reading, trying to distract herself from the argument.

Draco watched the two,not very amused by the two,he sighed but he looked over at Pynthia as she spoke and he started laughing at the two that had just got in trouble by her,he tried to hold it in but he started laughing more,he only stopped when he found he was the only one laughing,he still smiled though,he wasn't one who cared about his public opinion,so he didn't mind if others looked at him strangely,frankly,he didn't care.

"Rhaps" Jake worried as he saw his distressed friend. "Alright" Jake spoke crossing his arms to his nape  , "I'm sorry mr.magic guy but when raps gets mad-" Jake snickered and grinned , "She scares me a little" He jokingly smiled grabbing the leaf of lettuce from Alex and eating it.

 

"I'd still like to be friends though" He smiled crunching the lettuce and extending his unbandaged arm towards the magician once more.

Agnes had the sensation she was being watched, but she only got a glance of one of the newcomers as he passed.  Part of her wanted to shrug it off like it was nothing, but another part of her wanted to ponder on it.  Neither side won, as she was worried for Jake and, well, just about everyone in the cafeteria.

Were she a touchy-feely kind of person, Agnes would've hugged Pythia.  "Thanks," she whispered to her, even though she was probably going to ignore her.  Or maybe she does care but keeps it in.  What does Agnes know?  She can't read minds!

 

But something the wizard said caught her attention real quick.  Blood...?  She faced the wizard.  "Haha...  I don't want to have to heal anyone today."

Draco kept glancing over at Agnes and Pynthia,something about those two intrigued him,he didn't know what though,obviously he couldn't approach them because he was a noob,but he could wait till they tried to contact him,true it was unlikely,but he still had hope. He deeply wished to talk to them,yet,he didn't have a clue why,he was just...drawn to them.

He shrugs, disappointed in the turn of circumstances. He really would've liked to put on a show. He was going to have the best of times, making him think he was a newt! Everyone else would've thought so, too... He settled on a complex array, that he practically made up on the spot, and it was cancelled at the last moment! He smears the circle, making impossible to remake, noting the intricacies of each line before snuffing it out of existence.

"It was fun while it lasted..." He shakes the man's hand, eager to get the situation over with.

He had decided to finish eating the food, plundered from the plates of others, laughing fakely all the while. If he could seem to be the most powerful, he'd feign being harmless; it wouldn't do him any good getting on the radar of those who claimed to be more powerful. It was best to play it safe, and figure out how to weasel my way to the top of a mountain of corpses, that were once allies. He didn't care for a single one of them, but it didn't do to go into battle without intelligence, and multiple ways of dealing with the enemy. Besides, he could always attempt to pit his superiors against one another. He doesn't know that one of them is a telepath, so he lets these thoughts tumble out, as he's feigning having fun.

"That Was Fun" Jake smiled as he casually sat back on his seat gazing once at his friends then a few moments back at the new group before beginning to roll his bandages back up. "He seems like a fun guy" He continued finishing up the little knots. "Bit of a shame never got to finish his trick though" Jake grinned with a hint of regret in his voice.

 

"Rhaps" Jake calmly addressed, attempting to ease his friend . "I'm sorry" He apologized, forming his hands into utensils as he spoke  "I knew it was a trap, I just wanted to see what he was capable of" He continued, as he scooped up some peas and chicken from his plate , "After all" Jake laughed. "It takes quite a bit to scare Hyde" He jokingly snickered as he heard a feint sound of an annoyed growl in the back the his mind.

"Speaking of which, you think we should help'em out a bit?" He asked looking at Agnes,

"He seems to have bled quite a bit for his...Performance" Jake hinted gesturing at Alex's open wound.

Trag sat in his office, his eyes observing the monitors. He had been watching the new recruits for quite some time as they interacted with one another. He was quite pleased with how it was all going. However the magic user troubled him a bit. He was powerful for sure, but he was also a loose cannon. He would need to be kept under close watch. Trag looked and the time and decided the Newbies had had enough playing around. He activated the sound system, "Meal time is now over. All new recruits will follow Louise to the gymnasium to begin the tour. Don't be late."

Before Agnes could answer, she heard Trag's voice over the sound system.  Crap...  It's time?  She didn't really know what to do to inspire them so she tried to not make eye contact with them.

 

"Too late for me to do anything now.  I think Louise will heal him, but..."

 

She laughed wryly.  "Well, who says all healers are nice?"

Beliphagore's balls! He was annoyed that he couldn't activate his Passive Regeneration Spell, which he had tattooed on himself. With a piece of lettuce, he would've at least been able to close the wound. It would've scarred, because it wasn't being healed, per se, but it would've been something... He plucks a baby carrot from a plate, and put it in his mouth to use as a channel, without it being obvious what he's doing. He concentrates on his array, which activates, and his finger closes up. The carrot turns to ash in his mouth, which he swallows down, keeping down the urge to gag. It was terrible. He shrugs, getting up to Follow The Leader.

Pythia shot a look at the wizard after his inner monologue. She knew that he wasn't a person she was likely to get buddy-buddy with, but now those thoughts proved that she wasn't going near him anytime soon. And those thoughts were... very worrying. He was powerful without training, so once he got training, he would have more than enough power to turn on them. She definitely needed to keep an eye out.

 

She closed her eyes and focused her energy, and transferred a message to Agnes and Jake, "The wizard let some thoughts leak. He's planning on 'weaseling to the top of a mountain of corpses that were once allies'. ...don't trust him. He'll only use you if you get too close to him. Just... watch your back, alright?"

 

She closed up her book after the announcement that mealtime was over. She picked up her notebook as well, and began to observe the newbies from afar. If one was this dangerous, than maybe she misread the others., and they were too as dangerous. She knew she was going to get in trouble with the boss if she kept piercing into the newbies thoughts, but now she was interested. And few things nowadays could make her say that; she was known as the most unmotivated and lazy prisoner here, after all. So she began her creepy stare fest at the newbies and read their emotions, superpower potential, and mental state, looking for anything abnormal.

Jake jokingly theorized as he heard Victor's orders through the cafeteria's intercom.

"He's a wizard, after all" Jake smiled thinking about his new magical friend.

 

A familiar transformation began to take place once more, the body shifting as it had moments before...The teeth...the back...then finally the voice...

 

"We gathered quite a bit of information haven't we?" Hyde maniacally grinned as he tore through the last chunk of bone on his plate. "as powerful as the fat one is, his abilities do tend to require a great bit of time and requires some sort of "power source"" Hyde explained ,showing tints of joy in his wolfish tone. "Give him enough time in a large forest and he could shut down countries-" Hyde paused  thinking before smiling even wider , his knife like teeth appeared to protrude from his lips....

"or give him a few hours in the dead of night at S.H.A.R.K's food stores and we could escape"

Agnes received the message with a seemingly-dismissive shrug and a nod.  She did it facing Jack, but she let a thought slip that said, Yes, got it.  Out of the corner of her eye, she saw her normally unmotivated friend look, well, motivated.  She couldn't remember the last time she saw that side of her, if at all.  

 

"Well Jake, like I said, not all healers are nice," she said, eating some more mashed potatoes.  It was the only thing on her plate, as she hadn't had a large appetite in over three years.  

 

"And seriously, you must have a masochistic side I don't know about if you're going to talk about that kind of stuff out loud," Agnes said in response to Hyde's last comment.  She was quite serious about it, but she sounded more annoyed than anything.

Not helped of course by the guy still staring at them.  She just looked over at him and glanced at the departing newcomers, wondering why he wasn't leaving yet.

She closed her eyes and focused her energy, and transferred a message to Agnes and Jake, "The wizard let some thoughts leak. He's planning on 'weaseling to the top of a mountain of corpses that were once allies'. ...don't trust him. He'll only use you if you get too close to him. Just... watch your back, alright?"

 

From the Back of Hyde's mind, Jake sat cross legged on what appeared to be an imaginary hill with a small tree behind him. The sky had a large screen with a 1st person view displayed in real time.

 

A voice suddenly Echoed through Jake's mindscape...

 

"Rhaps?" Jake thought wondering why his friend had called him as he heard her warning.

 

"Mountain of Corpses? Use us?" Jake pondered and stood up on the imaginary hil, the cold breeze from the hill complemented by the heat from the sun,

 

"Hyde! , Im comin out" He stretched as he he smiled,

 

Hyde and Jake swapped as the body changed form

 

Jake looked at rhaps and nodded with a serious tone on his face...

"Okay"

<p>Alan had been watching the strange scene from his spot annoyed by the Spectacle. Once it was finally over he heard a strange ringing noise. The small amount of free flowing electricity left in him had been affected by some kind of electric waves. At first he thought it was static from the announcement but, it continued after it concluded. He looked around for the source but, couldn't find anything that would except. Could one of the Omega's have control over electricity like him? No It was more like power over the pulses in his brain seeing as though only the electricity in his ear had been affected. "Interesting." He thought. The current signal was not enough to block his thoughts yet and whoever was listening to his thoughts had probably gotten what they wanted but, just in case they hadn't he intensified the electricity in his ears so that all the person would hear was a high pitched noise. Then he got up and looked toward Louise. "So what would you say are the highlights of this <em>tour.</em>" He said with a cocky smile.</p>

He noticed an odd presence, but couldn't quite say what... It almost felt like an odd form of possession, or telepathy, but he couldn't quite tell. It felt like a consciousness was being tossed about, while he was getting ready to leave with the rest, so he sent out one last stray thought, before shutting down his surface thoughts for detection. Are you a spirit or a telepath? Either way, next time we meet, I'll have my mind protected. I hope, for your sake, you find out how to break down mental defenses, should you not already know how. After that, his mind goes radio silent, as he concentrates on a single thing, going into a semi-meditative state.

"Hey Pythia, feel like going with me today?"  She let a thought slip that said, There will be plenty of time to probe their minds.  Besides, they might be empaths as well or something similar, so you should probably tone it down.  Of course, another part of her felt very worried for the newcomers, remembering a bit about her first few days in the S.H.A.R.C.
