Hello, everypony! ^^ I'm dedicating this thread to all the music I've ever written, going in (roughly) chronological order. Since most of this was never posted, I figured this would be a good opportunity to get some of this stuff out there.

 

Let's start with my stuff from 2010:

This one is sort of a "light orchestral" tune, an experiment using my then-newly-acquired EWQL Symphonic Orchestra Gold.

 

Short ambient tune; the title sucks because I never bothered to think up a proper one.

 

Another light orchestral tune that borders on ambient, I was admittedly trying to replicate a sort of Jeremy Soule vibe with this one (Oblivion was my favorite game at the time).

An electronic song that was inspired by driving around in GTA IV, of all things.

More orchestral stuff, a bit heavy on brass and drums at the start but becomes lighter afterwards.

 

Over seven minutes long, this is an orchestral/soundtrack song I wrote with the intent of having it sound completely epic. Did it work? In retrospect, I'd say yes and no--but I'll leave it for you to decide.

 

A couple of depressing cellos.

 

Some more orchestral, a song I was simultaneously proud of because I enjoyed the result, but ashamed of because when I showed it to some of my acquaintances, one of them claimed they wanted to use me as a means of making them money, relating me to drilling oil; the other one said I was boring and made music that 'sounds like everyone else on the market'. Oh well, lol.

 

A very short orchestral tune mostly comprised of flute and harp.

 

I'm not sure what to categorize this one as; industrial, maybe? This was the first song I completed after returning to my computer after it had broken down for a few months.

I'll be continually updating this thread, adding more music and more years. Eventually once I'm done posting my old music, I'll start posting my new music as well.

Yeah, I believe you should be fine in doing that. While OH isn't my section I do know artists regularly post their work in their respective threads, but  I'm also checking to make sure so that I don't give you incorrect info.
