How did your parents react when you first told them you were a brony?

My parents were acceptant of me being a brony, though I could tell they were a little confused and found it a little weird that I like such a show.

Understandably, they were shocked and probably a bit weirded out that this was my new thing.  Gradually, as they noticed the way it’s impacted me, then they became more accepting of it.

My dad had to read my little dashie once to understand why I'm sad, but I was young back then and he probably thinks that is was just a one time thing. I'm not planning to turn them into bronies or something so I keep my secret with me

I never told them.  My mom just found out one day years ago cause I was watching the “At the Gala” song on my phone and she saw it.  She said it looked cute and asked me what it was, and I told her.
