Queen Changling still around.

I don't think Chrysalis has any strength unless she is feeding off love... So if she doesn't have love to feed off, it doesn't really matter if she's around or not.

I HAD TO FALL TO LOSE IT ALL BUT IN THE END IT DOESN'T EVEN MATTER /WRISTS

Speaking of plot holes.

The Queen said that consuming love made her powerful. Then when Candence said she will help Shining Armor with the spell with her love, she scoffed.

What the actual fuck?

Fun Fact; Queen Chrysalis' voice actress is the same as Trixie's. So if she did that, that would make such amazing sense and be quite clever on the writers' part.

I personally don't see this working out at all. Changlings are violent monsters that feed off of love. And then wrap their victims in cocoons to do God knows what with. And we saw what effects the feeding off of love had on Shining Armor. He was practically a shell of a pony, nearly devoid of personality or even rational thought.

Changlings need to do this process to survive. And honestly, would you know anypony willing enough to go through that just so they can be at peace with the demons?

Actually, she herself didn't take down Celestia. It was feeding off of Shining Armor's great love for Cadence that gave her the ability to do so. I'd imagine that after being cut off of the food source, her powers returned to normal, which I'd presume are still quite powerful, but not Celestia standards(She did show shock when she defeated Celestia).

My personal theory if that the Changling Army has been retreated from Equestria to some other country. They had a rather humiliating defeat in Canterlot(Lets face it, if you were defeated by the power of love, you'd be embarrassed too), which is a Capital that now knows their tactics as well as how to deal with them now.

I believe that if we ever see the Changlings again, it'll simply be as a cameo. Though I do find them quite interesting monsters in the MLP universe, and would like to see more of them.

Also, a fun little thing I noticed;

post-35-0-81798400-1335234679_thumb.png

This is the area the Changling Army blasted off to. This could either be the Desert area where Appleloosa and that one Cherry Town is, the 'Old Equestria' that the Unicorns, Pegasi and Earth Ponies originally lived, or, my personal belief, the Changling Hive(Perhaps an underground one?). And I dunno, it seems quite depressing to live in such a dry, inhospitable place that is literally right next to a beautiful paradise filled with all the love you can eat. It would be freaking awesome to see an episode where the Mane 6 go there. Though that's probably a pipe dream.

I thought it was the place where the dragons migrated too.

That is why I mentioned Trixie. I thought I heard a bit of her during the episode. ;)

There are ways, but it would be tricky. I'll give you that. But, if they need to feed off of love to survive, then they would have to eventually attack again, or risk dying out.

I don't know if it really matters why she was able to overpower Celestia. The fact is, there is now an established way to do it, and now she knows it.

Yeah, but again, they can turn into ANY of the ponies. They could disguise themselves as royal guards, advisers, or even nobles. What if they learn how their targets act before doing this?

Well, like I said, I've got a feeling we haven't seen the last of them.

Of course, it wouldn't necessarily have to be them alone. They could indeed get help.

If they bring back any of the villians, even in passing, I will be thrilled. However, in this case I was more intrigued by the view we got of what is "beyond Equestria." Dat wasteland... fanfics are calling to meeeee~!

After crafting and executing the most ingenious and unstoppable plan she had ever some up with, she and all of her forces were suddenly and humiliatingly knocked clear out of Canterlot, perhaps out of Equestria.

Until she finds a way to permanently avoid another shield spell expulsion (which she won't), I doubt she'll come back any time soon.

That's really all there is to say on the matter.

As badass as she was, I don't think she should make a second appearance.

It could be pretty cool to have her return, after all she can take the form of others ;) probably not though, I'm guessing.

but you never know.

That's true in the context of the storyline.

But, given the high ratings these two episodes got, I would't be surprised if Hasbro tried to market her a bit more as a villain.

Since she's been kicked out of the most well defended city in Equestria (home of God-Queen Princess Celestia), I think it would make more sense for Queen Chrysalis to set her sights a little lower. I don't expect her to appear anytime soon (unless we get an Elements of Discord villain supergroup)

It would be nice to see a sympathic changeling appear in a later episode to show they have the potential to change their ways and co-exist with ponies.

OOH OOH! What if Discord and Chrysalis both return and fall in luuuurv?! They could take over Fluttershy's cottage at the edge of the Everfree Forest and settle down and make more of those cute little minions. *squeeee!*

She wouldn't be a very effective villain if she let herself be stomped out by ponies from a defeat such as that. My guess is we'll be seeing her again, for sure. The entire Canterlot Wedding duo was incredibly intense and built up. There's no way that the writers will simply put down their pens and say 'She got blown out of Equestria, lol, the end'. Besides, if anything I say being blown out of Equestria is the most in-permanent defeat ever. You're just pushing her away, she can fly right back. She won't, for obvious reasons, but oh yes, I have a feeling the bug queen of hell will rise again. Just as your loveable god of chaos will emerge from his friendship prison again, as well <3

She might make an epic comeback in an episode that will actually be more epic than both the Wedding episodes COMBINED..???!?!

In a logical universe, I don't see how the changelings wouldn't come back. As big as their defeat was, it had all the appearances of simply being one battle lost. It would be like one Borg cube going down, and the Borg leaving with their tails between their legs, never to return.

Or she could have landed in a thorn bush and the Changelings fought who should be leader, killing all of them

That's my crazy theory :P
