Heck, Sunset still has yet to be mentioned by name or vague passing in the show itself. SBaby 660 December 19, 2015 Share December 19, 2015 (edited) I don't think she's related to Sunset Shimmer. If anything her name sounds more similar to Twilight Sparkle. Starlight Glimmer, Twilight Sparkle. So I think if they were going to have two characters turn out to be related, it would be Twilight and Starlight. Would be kind of an interesting thing though. But, I'd go w both being related to Twilight.
