The world is a cold place. And dark, thanks to her royal majesty, Princess Nightmare Moon. But... There's a slight problem. A creature... Some black ooze that can control ponies, has arrived, and it seeks blood. For what, who knows. You've been hired to track down the beast. You're to capture it and bring it to Princess Nightmare Moon. But the beast is elusive. And claims more lives. It's moving.

 

It's seeking blood. Possibly yours.

 

 

So that's the setup for this roleplay, and it's slightly dark and gory.

 

The story starts off as the hook above stated. A beast is killing ponies, you've been hired by Nightmare Moon, your princess, to capture the beast and bring it to her. For what purposes. It's anypony's guess.

- Race: Pegasus
- Physical Appearance: A empty living suit of Pegasus Iron plate Armor, dated 195 years before Equestria's forming. It has a small glowing sigil in the shape of a Pentacle inside the armor, binding Saturn's soul to the armor.
- Gear: Iron plate armor, Gladius
- Skills: Combat, Strategy, and being able to speak perfect Latin
- Spell School/Type (If Applicable): N/A
- Backstory: A Pegasus Commander during the Race Wars over what is now Equestria. He fought with great ferocity and with extreme prejudice. But one battle he was decapitated an Earth Pony who threw their Battle Axe.

533 years later his armor was found in a tomb in the Everfree Forest by a Witch. Through a ritual, the witch summoned Saturn's soul and bound it back to the armor. For 10 years the Witch used Saturn as a thane. But one night Saturn murdered the Witch in her sleep, hoping it would release him back to the Afterlife. Sadly it did not, so he wandered out of the Everfree and to Ponyville. Now he travels Equestria looking for somepony to release his spirit and give him peace.

- Other: He is very racist and will refer to Unicorns as Witches and Earth Ponies as savages.

- Name: Nerlate Yregne
- Specialty: Crystal amplifications
- Race: unknown
- Physical Appearance: Although he looks like a normal earth pony of course with his own set of colours that being, green for his mane, yellow for both of his eyes and a dark brown closely resembling black. He doesn't have a cutie mark which some people mock him for, this is due to him being a shape shifter which can shift shapes by replacing his body with that of one of his many alternate selves, each with its own goal, strength, form and shape. If he reacts to a strong emotion within him he will start to ''glitch'' up which causes his speech to garble up as parts of him become distorted to other shapes or forms. This can also permanently change his appearance within the realms of Equestria.

- Gear: A bag full of crystals of varying sizes and colours.
- Skills: Crystal Fusion, Crystal Empowerment, Crystal reconstruction. (see other for explanation)
- Spell School/Type (If Applicable): N/A
- Backstory: The rumbling stones falling, the storm raging and the wind tearing. The night when he was brought upon the world known as Equestria was like this. A storming night near a mountain, an earthquake was wrecking havoc and the pony village there was so feeble, so fragile compared to the stones that were rolling down the mountain top. That night a mystical creature who the villages only could describe as having an inextinguishable amount of energy. Nearing that of eternal power. Soon after the creature appeared the whole catastrophe vanished into thin air as if it didn't exist at all. The winds had calmed down, even the clouds had vanished. All that was left where the creature had been before it left, some crystals. Elegant enough to be used for dresses, beautiful enough to be given to the princess. Charming enough to allure even a dragon from ever eating. The crystals sparked within with a life similiar to the forces of nature they had witnessed. Now, years past this. Sightings of a pony with a similiar power to his had risen up. He had no name, he had no care for one until one day. When his body had taken the form of a flower with a face. He finally said his name and then from thereforth he used the name that this flower ultimately gave him.
- Other: Crystal Fusion - Lets the user combine two or more elementally charged crystals to fuse, forming a fusion of the crystals elements and a bigger, more charming and splendid crystal. Both in colour and in shape.

  Crystal Empowerment - By the use of a crystal he can empower his body, anothers body or even spacetime itself to create fires, rocks or simply to raise one's strength, speed. But most importantly he can use it to raise ones resistance to the element or make one be able to use the element without the ability to use magic albeit with a similiar but higher cost to their endurance 

  Crystal reconstruction - Similiar to what happened the first time pony kind saw him. He can take energy from the surrounding nature to create, reconfigure or to simply add an element to a crystal. He can also swap elements from a bigger crystal into a smaller one. Although, after creating a crystal he faces the risk of losing his sanity and depending on the scale of the disaster he might not be able to do it all.

  Note: For when he uses a crystal's power the bigger it is. The stronger the effect.

  Note 2: His biology is almost identical to the race his form is.

Basically, Shadow decided to track down the beast, encounters it, captures if for a couple of moments, and loses it. Also the bottle supposedly to contain said beast was destroyed.
