technology Windows 8 PC acting strange

I apologize if this is in the wrong category, but right after putting a shitton of ponies into my dropbox my PC proceeded to crash (BTW it is a tablet, hewlett-packard)

It's been looping and trying to do http://imgur.com/CyDNKsj all day, and keeps rebooting only to do the same thing again. Do I need an adapter and a rescue flash drive? Or what can I do to fix this?

Is my tablet fucked up badly enough so I have an excuse to get a new one?

What type of HP Tablet is it?

Well, Countess, it's a Windows 8, 'bout the size of your average Kindle Fire. A little thicker than an iPhone. Can't get the model because A. IDK how and B. it's still stuck like that.

***Please guys, that tablet had a FUCK TON of important pony shit on it.***

I was curious what type of tablet it was, like a special series of HP tablet. I was going to try some research and see if I can help you out on it.

I'm more of a PC guy and more of a windows 7 user. I know a little about Windows 8, but I never really messed with it too much. But I do have the simple idea of the basics and such.

As for tablet expirence I have only messed with Apple/Android ones.

Without know exact series of your tablet, I dont know what kind of thing I can do to help.

But in the case of the BIOS, from what I did find by searching up a Windows8 Tablet BIOS Loop.

I found an article on the HP Stream 7 in the top result. If this is your tablet type then what I did see.

Try holding the power + Volume Down together. Then it should reboot to recovery options.

But if that is not your series/model/type of tablet. Not so much I can really do to help.

But if the little bt I just said actually works, then I hope it does work.

But if not, I do hope that somepony here will have an answer for you.

Because losing a lot of important data is not a good thing.

If there anything I can do to look up or try to help you I will try my best.

Darn.. Does your tablet by chance of one of those memory sticks for storage? Or is it all on the tablet storage itself?

I would think if it is on like those micro SD cards, you can buy an adapter that you can put a micro SD into a normal SD card. And you can easily copy those to another computer.

Now if not and its on internal storage only, then I don"t think there is much to do on that part.

I suggest you try to look for a fix possibly by google "HP Stream 7 BIOS Loop"

And see if you can come up with a fix. Or if it is possible for you to contact HP support in some way and see if they can have a way to help.

Honestly I have never owned a Windows tablet or ever played with one. So I don't know much to really give you much help on it, and I apologize for that.

I would say do a google search see if there is any fixes. If so, then good.

If not, and it has a micro SD type card in it, I would say by the adapter. Then if need be to buy a new tablet, you can prolly be able to transfer whats on the SD to that.

But again, I don't know much about tablets.

Sorry I couldn't be enough help.

I wish you luck. And hope someone here has an answer for you.
