Watching mlp with your parents.

Yeah ok

Recommended Posts

I had an oppertunity to watch Equestria Girls with my father because he wanted to spend time with me and understand why I like the show... for whatever reason I said no and I still regret that decision to this day.

and probably does not know anything about gen 5 mlp

no one does cause it has yet to exist

I tired to convince my dad with the Tirek fight scene but he said it is too girly for him.

I do not even need to try it by my mother because she thinks that basically all animations are childish and bad. Same applies to my older sister. mlp-tconfused.png

Neither of my parents know that I'm a fan (i doubt they care). But the fact that I am a man of 48 years, My folks might think that I've had a mental breakdown and ask that I seek counseling.

I don't make it a secret, but I don't go shouting it from the rooftops either.

First of all i don't know if this is the right section to put it in. but i think it might be.

Has anyone watched mlp with their parents? If so how did you bring it up? They know I'm a brony but I want to show them the show but it seems weird just going up to them and saying "hey can we watch my little pony" I don't know if this is making any sense but if you have any experience then please can you share.

Once again I'm sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Thank you for any replies.

I have decided to move this thread to show discussion because it is about watching the show.

My parents think that it is still My Pretty Pony, if that tells you anything. I have about an hour on most days to watch it freely before they get home, and sometimes they get home while I am watching it, but they always make me turn it off. As far as asking your parents to watch MLP, it couldn't hurt to ask, unless of course have a strong negative opinion on the show and bronies.
