Lithophila 291 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 (edited) Trying to not be politically correct here. So its basically a system that you can just use a country as a dumpster place for refugees. As for Japan and South Korea simply said NO. Every time UN has asked to bring in refugees into their country. But being a member in EU just usually result into taking it non stop, people from 3rd world countries with a bad culture, like "lack of human rights", "religious and ethnic conflicts". Just saying? Sounds fishy. Edited January 6, 2016 by Lithophila
Malinter 3,064 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 The system as always allowed for this, albeit in fewer numbers and over a longer, slower period of time. Problem is it wasn't designed to take this many people all moving at once and at the same time and the moving masses have no where to go even if they are successful so they can't settle in or intergrate properly with into the country they wind up in. Mentis Soliloquy 3,025 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 (just saying I think your title is wrong, are you aware of what Communism is?) (not to be rude) The EU has always had an open immigration policy ever since the fall of the Soviet Union, why are people surprised by this? Anyway if they wish to keep the borders open or close them now due to the flood of migrants, well that is common sense in my opinion, they can't take all the worlds troubled peoples. Something has to be done but what is not for me to say, that is for the persons of state to answer. 3 PonyvilleLive! Lunar Echo 10,335 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 The EU is nothing like that Soviet Union. The Soviet Union would've been a much greyer world to what we have now.
Gestum 2,493 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 Do you know what communism is? Because I don't think you do. "a theory or system of social organization based on the holding of all property in common, actual ownership being ascribed to the community as a whole or to the state". That right there is the definition of communism. So no, the EU isn't the new communists.
Administrator Sir Hugsalot 9,348 January 6, 2016 Administrator Share January 6, 2016 Assuming You are from EU country - the fact You aren't sitting in jail for such an opinion is enough to prove we have little to do with communism. And even if You're not I know plenty of Europeans accusing EU of THAT. None of them in jail. If they were right they'd be rotting there right as I write this post. (I mention jail, because during communism in Poland it was common to arrest people who speak loudly against authorities) Also I have no idea what genius gave You that definition of communism (probably radical right wing party, they give me cancer daily along with radical lefties) but no - communism isn't a system created to turn country into a dumpster for refugees. But we don't really have an option, or do you think it would be better if we build a giant fence around Europe and let all of those people die instead? Also, you have no idea what communism is, do you?

Guest January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 (edited) What does communism have to do with any of this? lol Even though it kinda sucks that Europe is slowly turning into a pile of bigots, quickly closing their borders one after another. EU citizens are allowed to travel around in Europe without encountering border control at all, it's written down and all. ghostberry 40 January 6, 2016 Share January 6, 2016 Like many of the posters hera have said, communism is a very distinct political system and easily used as a buzzword especially against liberal social politics and Keynesian economics. Which is kind of... Incorrect. They don't call it a refugee crisis for nothing though. It's always wiser to solve issues where they happen, but Syria is a complicated one indeed. I think it's a bit more easy for Syrians to travel to the EU than say Japan, isn't it? They can't just sink the boats.

Can't say much about the communism stuff, apart from the fact that it's a load of bollocks. 1 "Deaf?
