  1. Like a zombie. Not like george romero -style tired spacing out or anything, but a world war z ass running wall-climbing meth-zombie who wants to kill and devour. I am currently battling a huge appetite and a complete dependency of carbohydrates, and this feels exactly the same as quitting smoking a few years ago.
  2. Headcanon and getting too intense about the show tires me.
  3. Tired and aching. Last weekend was daughter's birthday for which I baked and cleaned and did a multitude of everything for. Yesterday was cleaning day and our s*y vacuum strained my back. At work I have been preparing a boilerplate/template for the other dev teams about my (absolutely killer) angular-based mobile/webapp-architecture whom have no ng-experience. So even my head is strained.
  4. I'm not living as healthy as I want to be diet/exercise-wise and I'm a professional crastinator (i just like to do things later). Edit: I even misspelled exercise. Edit: twice.
  5. I'd really like to know what you did with this song. Did you use a karaoke version of the song and have someone else sing over it? The background is very similar to the original. If that is the case, I really don't have much to say but that you should correct the vocals, because the singer isn't really hitting all the notes. I use Newtone with FL Studio (stock plugin) and it is a charm.
  6. I think the worst case scenario already happened in EqG. You have a gary stu blue-haired dude who drives a sports care becoming the love interest of adorkable Twilight.
  7. Hard to say my fav tracks, but the following are definitely the ones that are building my own style of music (electro-aor). Magnum - Vigilante BTSM & Davin - Jack Dat Body Heart - Alone James Egbert - Here
  8. That's actually pretty close to what I was doing while turning the main melodies to major, but it just wasn't working out. It was becoming a Stan Bush song while i wanted it to be a Magnum song . It was only after that when I discovered Newtone and began dabbling with the vocals and had the "oh my f*n god I am LOVING this s*t" defining moment.
  9. My Favourite Mane 6 Pony: Rarity How did you find MLP Forums?: I think I was looking for a community to find and display pony music. I've loved the music since I first stumbled upon some EqG Aviators remixes. I do some myself. Former punk/thrash metal dude here, but have dabbled with electronics on and off for some time now. I created Ghostberry to give something more to the music, like a DJ character with in character song descriptions and such. How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Looked for some shows for my daughter on Netflix. Noticed that I wasn't Facebooking through the episodes and kind of watched them all with the little one in a period of three months. Found the remix community. I have always LOVED cartoon musicals, so I guess I was set. So, what is there to tell. I'm a dad in my 30's and I make electronic music with cartoon horse vocals to entertain myself and my next of kin. I was initially planning to stay on the fan music forums, but I might be most active in life advice. It might help to be an older guy who has his stuff together. Survived hardships with depression, alcohol, sudden unemployment, hugely falling out of faith, being a hikikomori/loneliness and noticed that scar tissue is way stronger than skin. Agree with the late Lemmy that the main thing in life is a sense of humor.
  10. Twilight: Nerf and tone down the mary-sue in her. The show has done it a bit lately, though (in mccolts and hooffields among a few others). Rainbow: Mature her a bit. She's still like 12. No need to make her less AWESOME, but she is WAY more immature than the others. Pinkie: Nothing. Perfect as is. Fluttershy: Nothing. The last two seasons have corrected all the flaws. Applejack: Nothing. Fully developed since like episode 4? Rarity: Nothing. Rarity is life. Rarity is love.
  11. I'm a bit too old to get angry. There was a post here which was eventually locked, about comparing classical music to mlp. I got a bit snarky and called it out for being elitist and cringy so there was an even more elitist reply. The post was actually so silly it was narrated by this high-pitched John Cleese in my head and it got me cracking up.
  12. I don't consider Ghost as an avatar, but more of a audiovisual project, but I do want to make and represent her as pretty as a wad of cash.
  13. Like many of the posters hera have said, communism is a very distinct political system and easily used as a buzzword especially against liberal social politics and Keynesian economics. Which is kind of... Incorrect. They don't call it a refugee crisis for nothing though. It's always wiser to solve issues where they happen, but Syria is a complicated one indeed. I think it's a bit more easy for Syrians to travel to the EU than say Japan, isn't it? They can't just sink the boats.
  14. Worst food: probably canned cat food. The worst dishes are low quality watery vegetable soups that taste like vomit. I have had these in bad lunch buffets. I'd choose cat food over them easily. I have eaten maggot cheese (casu marzu) but it was only mediocre. Worst drink: johnnie walker red label. Judging from the taste I found at least the exquisite flavors of mold and anus.
  15. I usually cringe when something subjective is measured with the word 'genius', especially when namedropping composers so popular it could be a list of early nokia ringtones. There are actual, less vague measures of quality for cinema which have been used for decades.
  16. A mixture of twilight sparkle and the parrot from aladdin trapped inside the body of an overweight abradolf lincler sans the mustasch.
  17. Damn, why don't I hear stuff like this on Eqd posts? You're awesome! It's really stuff like this that makes me happy I found this place for new pony music.
  18. Henry Fool made me a creative, Fight Club made me walk no path but my own and 24 hour party people taught me there's more music out there than metal.
  19. I guess I'm an agnostic towards the existence of a judeo-christian god in the same way I am agnostic towards juju, wendigos and Santa Claus. My daughter asked me about a streak in the clouds if it was Santa Claus. I said it's likely a plane, but you never know. I guess it's honest to know what you can't know, and not just rely on things you see. I've never seen Australia with my own eyes, but I'm fairly sure there is an Australia. I still think Vladimir Putin might be a fictional character. We're flying in a giant spherical mass of dirt towards humanity's inevitable doom, but yay! ice cream!
  20. https://pony.fm/tracks/21283-scootaloo-hearts-strong-as-horses-ghostberry-electro-aor-re-clop So here's the updated version. Tried to take as much advice from CTD as possible, while maintaining the original spirit of the song. Now the vocals are in minor and it has an ending!
  21. Speaking of industrial metal, I think the finnish Turmion Kätilöt is the best I know a ton of german bands also, but I'll link to them later
  22. Thanks a million for the feedback. I just found out a minute ago that I can pitch correct vocals in newtone and I'm currently working on that. It sounds like a million times better now and that's exactly what I want to make. That sawtooth synth is the key part of the piece so I'm going to be subtle on that, but I'll tone it down and get the bass up and going for the whole piece. Thanks again for the awesome constructive criticism! Actually I got rid of the scrambling while repitching the vocals, so I didn't lose any key elements. Thanks for the advice about the ending! I'd like to close it with something intense. Like a piano with a quote and the chorus vocals playing silently in the background or something like that. oh yass, found the perfect sample.
  23. Here's some 90's stuff, because I'm an olde fahrte.
  24. Violence towards children, and now that I think of it, I absolutely truly and thoroughly hate abuse towards other living beings.
