They all stopped at the last door.  It read "Engineering Dept." and listed all the sub labs that were a part of it." Y'know. There's just something inherently satisfying about sending something big and hard flying." She cocked her hoof back to strike.

Shadow smiled and opened the door and said,

"We don't need another door to fix when we're done."

 

Feeder walked in and sat down on the floor. He started taking metal pieces and screwing them together until it made a small head. He slipped in an emp sticker and kept it away from the wires

​Luster looked at Shadow with a deadpan expression. "Nope. You're not taking my fun out of this. " She slid off one of the plates on her hoof, exposing the blue metal underneath. She pressed it to shadows portal and watched as the magic was drained away, closing it.  She then began to wonder back, all the way down the hallway. She stopped when she reached the wall of the first one. She lifted her right hoof in the air. Took her left and scraped it up and down the right, like she was cocking a shotgun. She turned and slammed that hoof down into the floor, cracking it. Then she started running. 

 

Ruining faster and faster down the hallway stretch. When she was 5 or so meters away from the door, she jumped hoof cocked back. 

 

"Supermare punch!" 

 

*CLANG!* 

 

The door was sent flying off it's struts and skidding along the floor. And skating on top of it, was Luster. The dented door was now spinning like a top, as it careened to a stop. 

 

"Nailed it."

"Do bots even get dizzy and sick. You would be great with demolition, so if you ever want to stop trying to save equestria, I can give ya a job."

 

Feeder jumped out of the way as the door came flying at him. He got up and wave his hoof, still holding a small bot's head, as he said,

"What's the big idea, ya could have killed me."

Crystal was just following them all along she was worried how things were going to turn out when they got to the surface she knew it would probably get ugly and she was worried for all those that would be involved.

She looked over at Feeder with a cocked eyebrow joint. "Well I didn't, so what are you complaining for? And maybe I'll consider that demolitions offer. But then you and every other contractor would be out of work. I'd be too good at what I did."  

 

She looked at the next hallway they entered. A security door spaced out every 15 or so meters. "Choices choices... Hm?" She ntoiced the door right in front of her and what it said:

 

"Welcome, my child. Follow the floor lights to my office."

 

"Huh. Wonder who this is for? Oh well, doesn't matter. Adding to the collateral regardless." She approached and cocked her hoof back-- only for the door to open.  "Oh now it decides to work properly." She put her hoof back down and walked in. It was dark. Until a row of lights gave her direction. "If somepony set this up for somepony else, they're gonna be greatly disappointed when I arrive." She began to follow the lights.

Drone looked at the piloted mechs and blinked a few times," When were those put into service?" he asked, fearing his technology may have been duplicated. He looked down as he felt adrenaline pump into him, he was ready to suit up and mount an attack, but he had no weapons, no ammo, barely any armor...he would be destroyed if he fought them head on.

Emerald looked to Drone. "Whoa there Drone there security bots not enemies they fill in places where the guard or army is not present like, well like places like this." She looked to Angel. "Well I suppose I am still in charge come on." She gestured for them to follow her she walked up to one of them as it stood guard at the entrance.

 

"Halt, campus is closed until security lock down is lifted." 

 

"Hmm that is what you tell all the captain's of the guard, yes?"

 

"Processing...

...Apologies captain Bolt, you may enter."

 

"these two are also with me."

 

"Captain."  The three of them made their way in.

 

"Well that is interesting wonder what is going on?"

Shadow said as he laughed at Feeder's anger,

"I have enough jobs. We could split the jobs  and the money."

 

Feeder grabbed a flashlight and walked until he found a corner, then he opened his bag and pulled out a small cube and googles, and turned it on. Nothing happened to the room, but to Feeder the box gave off a light. He continued working on his project

Angel waled over to one of the bots. "Um excuse me? Why are all of you here and why is everypony off campus."

Drone kept staring at the mechs, the machines were strange, yet they looked eerily familiar, though he couldn't quite place what it was, " Em, What are these symbols painted on their chest plate, they look like PMC symbols..." he looked even harder at the mechs and thought of scanning their internal software with his suit.

"I don't really know Drone I've never thought about they have been around for what four years now and well that has been it they were not made with anything to do with the guard I think they were an army project so we, well we just accepted them they are rather good machines."

"Pretty sure they're manufactured by the EUP. And pretty sure they are not telling me anything other than this was an ordered evacuation, and the reasons for said evacuation are Classified. Most convenient excuse in the book." She said as she was walking back to to Drone and Emerald.

"Ooohh-kay." Luster just continued on, jumping over the puddle that was a construct. She had been more than ready to back hoof the little upstart without hesitation. But then he melted. She turned her head over to look at the remnants. "Now that's some pretty shoddy construction. I mean, how do you buck something up so bad that it freakin melts? And I thought I had seen everything when Sweetie Bell tried to make chimichangas. Whomever built that must've been a total hack."  

 

"Still a little put off by the bowing. Is this default protocol for employees? Is it because I look like an alicorn? Are they trying to get on my good side? Are they surrendering? Guess I'll find out eventually."

Lab Tech stepped out of the crowd of bowing ponies and ponybots and spoke directly to Luster. "I bid you all welcome. The Professor is expecting you. Please continue to follow the lights through the dimly lit halls." She then went back to bowing and would follow after the group, making sure they went the right way and followed the lights. Shadow watch her bow and head back in, then a shadowy tentacle went flying and grabbed feeder and his stuff and started dragging him along

 

Feeder said as he tried to stop the dragging by reaching out for something to hold onto,

"Why do I have to meet a creature? All I want to do is make a pet."

 

Shadow sigh and said to Luster, 

"You've seen Sweetie belle cook, you must be old."

"Oh please, I'm only 12. And besides, age is just a number, right? Though judging by what everypony has said so far, I'm guessing she's probably got a family of her own. Maybe even grandfoals. The crusaders were always good to me. Even if I needed to be rebuilt after a few of their excursions."

"What excursions, so your were friends with them? Can borrow the ball so I can make Feeder shut up. He's getting annoying with his complaining about being dragged. If not, and he doesn't shut up, then I'll strangle him until he passes out."

A tentacle wrapped around Feeder's neck and started squeezing. He tried to get air, but couldn't. After a few minutes, he passed out.

 

Shadow said, as he placed Feeder on his back and stuff his stuff into his bag,

"Pretty easy, for someone who hasn't done it in a while and the others were harder than him."

Drone started thinking as they walked, '​Four years?...Definitely copies of Excalibur...Just accepted them? Hell, I'd expect at least some resistance. Wait...if they are running off the Excalibur mainframe...' He looked at Emerald and whispered in her ear,"  These machines are copies of Excalibur...Their armor Is very powerful, and I can spot they are using Nuclear power in the batteries, And yes, they were once a military project...But if a PMC group has them...Wait.....Wait...If a PMC group has them...Then...This evacuation is a false flag...They want the tech that's in here, They want the minds that can control it...Em, I fear soon they will start executing my fellow staff and students..." ​He said in a worried voice, he looked around at the shiny armor

Twitch stopped short of the lab doors.

 

I've seen pictures of this stuff online - that's Magitek!  NO WAY am I dealing with THAT; Twitch can handle about anything else, but that stuff's dangerous.  Nope.  Nope.  Nope.

 

Twitch watched as the others went inside, and backed himself back out into the hallway.  His faceplates spun into a look of worried concern as he carefuly made his way back down the hall; the doors had to be out here somewhere - Luster had knocked enough of them aside, at least one of the leftover paths had to lead out, right?

 

I hope Luster will be okay... but I'm not going anywhere NEAR that stuff.

"I don't know Drone the PMC's are on our side and you might just be a little paranoid even if they go nuts for some reason which they wont they would be committing suicide the project would be canceled all the machines destroyed and the heads of the company put in jail, come lets us find what is going on."

 

(my intention is for Emerald to know Luster, or at least know of her due to her age.)

"Ya know, He's a little better when he's asleep. When do ya want to see his memories, right now, when we get to our destination, or when he wakes up so he can say the exact words."

He said as he tried to look around the room,

"And will it kill the person to turn on the lights?"
