Hello everypony!

 

You can call me Hope. My OC is an earth pony, and she's still in the works, but in the meantime I'll tell you a bit more about myself. Well, my human self. You know what I mean.

 

I'm big into self growth and development. Actually understanding my own psychology and using that knowledge to improve myself; is a very serious passion of mine.

 

I am very deep rooted in my spirituality. To express how it impacts my daily life; I'll say I go through my interactions with others without judgement. There are reasons people are as they are, and I am no better or worse than anyone else. I believe in love and compassion, which is part of what really drew me to FIM. Everyone is a potential friend.

 

I take my physical fitness very seriously as well. I wouldn't consider myself a bodybuilder as I don't focus so much on muscle size or supplementing as I do strength. Hence my choice to be an earth pony, having strength over magic or the ability to fly. It brings me confidence.

 

I love horror movies, old school gaming, but particularly nature and a zest for life overall. I love and enjoy philosophy and spend a lot of time thinking about the bigger picture and how we all fit into the same puzzle.

First off, if you ever need help developing an OC, you can always ask. I know that there are a few good authors out here that'll take you under their wing, @AmberDust for one. (Put ya on the spot, Amber! XD) I can also help if you'd like, though I might not be online too much.

Thank you very much for the warm welcome! Just browsing I'm seeing a lot of talent here, and I'm looking forward to being an active part of he community here. Well, as active as life will let me. I -have- developed my OC for the most part, as far as story and appearance go. Just tweaking with colors and cutie marks. (I'm aiming for quartz crystal.) I drew this about 5 minutes ago but will be fleshing her out when I get a minute to just sit with my tablet.

 

Again, thank you. I look forward to some good conversation and making some brony friends. I don't have any, -yet-. Also, still learning how to use the forums. :x Excuse the lack of tag.

I'm not too keen on OC designing, so I think you'd better have a few of the actual artists out there give you their opinions. I'm more of a personality/backstory guy myself, but I think it's fair to say that she looks pretty nice. Reminds me of equalized Sugar Belle...
