Turbo 2, huh? I don't think I heard that robot name before...Wait, did you mean 'Corkscrew 2', 'Typhoon 2' or something else? Nevertheless, hope the newcomer will put up a good performance in the reboot.

Was that Sir Killalot in that trailer? Man, it's been far too long since Robot Wars and Battlebots were a thing. If it comes back that'll be really awesome. I used to have the ambition to build one myself, but I lost that drive as I got older. Still, to see two robots ripping each other to shreds again in that arena would be great. There was some visceral enjoyment in seeing parts flying through the air.

You're spot on. That was Sir Killalot in the trailer but this time, he's more menacing than ever. Maybe perhaps he came back as a robot zombie. LOL.

 

I think we should make this a thread so that we can discuss what we saw in the episodes to come. It would be nice to talk about we like and don't like in each episode.

I totally saw their new looks! The House Robots sure have evolved since the last time we saw them. Sir Killalot looks like it's wearing a Darth Vader-like helmet (and hopefully Shunt doesn't get flipped so often now).

 

Still no news on when the program would air but the information will soon be shown to us. But for now, hooves crossed!

The nostalgia is real. I remember watching this show so much with my dad back in the day. Those were some good times. I remember loving the carnage but also at the same time feeling really bad for the losing team. Seeing their project get torn apart was saddening. :c XD I totally forgot that it was coming back after all these years.

Though these four new and improved House Robots are purely intimidating, especially Sir Killalot's new mask.

So true. It's like they came back from a scrapyard. Sir Killalot in particular as he's just menacing to look at.

Sweet! I looked at the arena and it seems the Drop Zone is absent for now. It was pretty funny to see things dropped on robots along with Johnathon Pearce's commentary. For example, when a TV drops on Niterider, Johnathon says "You're on TV!". His commentary is one of the best bits in Robot Wars.

 

I don't know the precise date when Robot Wars would start but the wiki says it'll air some time this August.

Got it right down on the notepad! SO can't wait to watch the Robot Wars reboot! Especially when it comes to old favorites returning to the show like Behemoth, Storm 2 and twice World Champion, Razer!
