Breaking it down a bit, unicorns and pegasi are the most popular races of pony, with a close call of Alicorns and way way waaaaaay down the line, earth ponies. Dragons, too, of course. Zebras, horses, donkeys, mules... Cows, deer, griffins, goats... Slimes, bat ponies, vamponies, naga ponies... We even have a small diamond dog population. However, those are old news. For me, it's dinosaurs. Not very many know, but there were Cuteasaurus' back in generation 1, which I loved. Don't see too many of those around. I think I've seen one other dino.What I'm asking is, what kind of creature would you LIKE to see inserted into the FiM universe. They seem like the kind of creature that would fit right into MLP, being both mythological and equine in nature. It would be cool if there were more hippogriff OCs. Sure there's griffons, which have an established mythology for eating horses, and Ahuizotl (though he may be an entity unto himself like Discord for all we know). They showed up in the comics, and it was a total disaster. The writer seemed to think Deers were the kind and perfect species, living in forests and doing generic elf sh- stuff. generic elf stuff. And the story sucked. Why was Celestia apologising when the whole freakin thing was the deer's fault? Why did Celestia not even casually mention she knows fire magic and even if she's just the Mr Satan of her universe, that's still stronger than the average deer? 1 I was dead until the moment I met you.
