"In a time of ancient Gods, Warlords, and Kings,
A land in turmoil cried out for a hero.
She was Xena, a mighty princess forged in the heat of battle.
The power.
The passion.
The danger.
Her courage will change the world."
--Opening Narration of Xena

While I might not have watched this show in it's Heyday, thanks to Netflix I was able to enjoy Xena in it's entirety and I was very happy I did. It's a great show with a great cast and while it certainly shows its age in a number of places, the writing for some episodes is a little odd, the last two seasons weren't the best and the extras could have used a bit more acting practice, it's become one of my favorite shows very quickly. It's right up there with Buffy for me right now.

Xena: Warrior Princess, is about a woman trying to escape her dark past of being a warlord and do good in the world. She's partners with a young bard named Gabriel and they journey all across the world having grand adventures.

My personal favorite season was Season 3 and the very intense plot that followed it, the musical episode was just great, even if they had to dub Renee O Conner's voice.

Anyway let's discuss on of the best shows from the 90's.

Can't have Xena without Hercules: the Legendary Journeys with Kevin Sorbo, lol!

Poor Kevin Sorbo, Lucy Lawless gets great acting gigs since Xena, what does Kevin Sorbo get?

God's Not Dead.

Poor guy.

Hercules is quite enjoyable too, I do prefer Xena as you can see from me starting the thread about the show, but have to give credit to Hercules since he started the spin off.

Yeah I had heard about his Stroke which does explain quite a bit about the last season.  You can tell from a few of the scenes from "Gods Not Dead" that his Stroke really did effect him from his general body movements though. Makes me feel bad for him and I wish him the best.

Weren't the crossovers between those two exciting though?

Edit: AH! I love that track Tack Besta, they had the best soundtrack, I wish that there was a way I could get the whole soundtrack all together without having to buy them separately.

Pretty sure he did God's Not Dead willingly though, among other Christian-centric movies. He got pretty heavy into Christianity after his stroke from what I heard. He's been in a few movies like it.

He also did the voice of Hercules in God of War 3 though. <.< >.>

I know he did, but it's sort of me jokingly talking about how Lucy Lawless is doing fairly well, being in Spartacus and Ash VS the Evil dead and all, while Kevin Sorbo is in things like that. I wonder if he knew how bad the script was going into it.  It's common to turn to religion after something like that happens though.

I kind of wish they had a Hercules Video game series with him doing the voice, they already had one for the PS1 and the Gameboy Color, they could easily do a sort of Telltale scenario with him voicing Hercules.

She also was pretty good in Battlestar Galactica!  :D

I forgot she was in Battlestar Galactica!

Callisto for best villain.  Just the right amount of totally-batcrap-crazy.

She was a great villain, I was sad to see her go, but it was a good end to her character arc. Even if it did result to her becoming one of the more annoying characters of the later Seasons.

Joxer The Mighty for the win.

Joxer the Mighty
roams through the countryside,
he never needs a place to hide.
With Gabby as his sidekick,
fighting with her little stick.
Righting wrongs and singing songs.
Being mighty all day long.
He's Joxer! He's Joxer the Mighty!
