CastletonSnob 3,079 April 9, 2016 Share April 9, 2016 With the short break between S5 and S6, do you think that the show will take a mini-hiatus for the summer, and return with new episodes in the fall?
ponylaces 1,870 April 9, 2016 Share April 9, 2016 God dammit that would suck. I could see it happening though, but maybe it won't. hello
Kyoshi Frost Wolf 41,803 April 9, 2016 Share April 9, 2016 It is doubtful, unless the entire season is not yet completed. If another Equestria Girls thing gets made, then that could make the likelihood much higher.

Mesme Rize 15,687 April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 It would be a wise move from a business standpoint. During the summer, most kids have other things to do, then watching TV. They go out swimming, make picnics, or just play outside. If Hasbro shows these Episodes during the summer, it will kill the ratings. 2 My OC Mesme Rize: >https://mlpforums.com/page/roleplay-characters/_/mesme-rize-r8777 Thank you Randimaxis for this Wonderful Avatar. Please, don't be afraid to talk to me. I am not as unapproachable, as you might think.
Princess Book Horse 352 April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 (edited) I figured that they would take a break so the Hearth's Warming episode could air at the end of the year. The thing is, the HW episode has already been confirmed as episode 8. They still could take a break for other reasons though. It is doubtful, unless the entire season is not yet completed. If another Equestria Girls thing gets made, then that could make the likelihood much higher. Equestria Girls has nothing to do with whether or not they end up taking a break. EG is made by a different team. Edited April 10, 2016 by Princess Book Horse
Unlikeable Pony 2,698 April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 A fourth Equestria Girls movie has already been confirmed. Wondering when they'll be releasing that one, mid season or near the end of the season. Honestly they seem to be playing Legend of the everfree pretty close to the vest compared to the info we had long before Friendship games came out. (or maybe they're just putting less emphasis on the EQG series as a whole as something they're pushing)

Wind Chaser 4,768 April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 Other than the business reasons that @Mesme Rize pointed out, as well as EqG4, there's also the possibility that this might be the last season before the 2017 movie comes out, unless Season 7 is confirmed in the coming weeks or months, which would make more sense for a staggered release. cmarston1 5,959 April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 Possibly in order to hype up EGQ Legends of the Everfree or in order to space out the season assuming that this one is the last.
VengefulStrudel 1,495 April 10, 2016 Share April 10, 2016 I think it's very likely. We got 7 more weeks until the first week of Summer, so I assume they will air up to episode 13 and then go on a break. As previously mentioned, Summer's not a very good time for a TV show, so, it would make sense. Check out my art thread for some cute ponies, cookies and boops. EverEverOn 346 April 12, 2016 Share April 12, 2016 I hope so. I liked having break during season 5 because the season lasted longer. Plus, kids would rather be outside swimming and all that, summer premieres might not be good in the long run.
