Spike will fulfill his destiny, and show the dragons that there is a better treasure out there than gems and gold! I'm sure you know by now what it is. He can unite the ponies and the dragons. It'll be the beginning of a brand new arc for him! He'll be able to do everything Twilight taught him to make sure the dragons know friendship, and to make sure the ponies get used to them. Dragons will really come in handy for the dark times ahead for Equestria! For all we know, there might also be another good dragon! After Spike's performance in the premiere, as I predicted, it just makes this episode, and his next episode(s) throughout the season even more promising! Unlikeable Pony 2,700 April 11, 2016 Share April 11, 2016 There's not really anything I HOPE to see; this is one that could go VERY poorly if they do it wrong.That being said, they have a very real opportunity to give spike a bigger purpose in life past being Twilight's Slave Assistant. Twilight became a freaking princess with a castle and royal duties and she's STILL here. Rarity's opened 2 stores in different parts of the country (Canterlot and manehattan) and she's still in ponyville. Rainbow dash is going to be a wonderbolt: She's still going to be on the show. All episodes could be bad if done wrong, but also be good if done right! Spike had some good episodes in the past, like his season 2 and season 4 episodes. I'm sure the writers know by now that the fans want more love for Spike, have you guys considered that this episode could be a positive response to what we've been asking for? Spike did REALLY good in the premiere! Josh knows what to do with Spike, and as head-writer, I have confidence that he'll make this episode really good! Spike had some good episodes in the past, like his season 2 and season 4 episodes.
