request In Need Of A Family Portrait

Uhm, hiya.

 

I would like to make a formal request of our esteemed artist community here on the forums for a project that I have in mind, and I would be exceedingly grateful for any sort of response to my dilemma.

 

A recent RP that I am involved in is currently being transcribed on FimFiction, and I have it in mind that it would be absolutely wonderful to have some artwork to go with the story.  Though I would happily commission artists for this endeavor, I am sadly quite bereft of funds - and so, I turn to this particular method of attempting to acquire said art.

 

What I am officially requesting is a family portrait of my OCs, the Blackwaters, that will be depicted in the story as their Family Portrait, which will be hung over the grand fireplace.  I plan on this portrait being included in the narrative, so the artist will be mentioned by name in the FimFiction story as the contributor for this part.

 

I ask each of you with drawing talent if perhaps you might find some time in your busy schedules to perhaps indulge this humble Brony with your valuable time and effort into creating something that will become a part of a rather nifty story.

No one at all?  It's okay - I'm a bit disappointed, but still kinda hopeful.

 

Besides, no sense in getting all upset because no one replied; I AM asking for voluntary work, here.

I could try commissioning someone on dA to do this, but they usually don't do that many characters in one pic, I'll see if I can find someone willing to do it without breaking the bank

Honestly, I won't tell you not to (as I am absolutely broke), but I will say that isn't necessary; I appreciate the offer, but you don't have to spend money on it.  

 

I could try to pay you back, if that would seem more fitting, but I cannot guarantee when I would be able to do such.  If you like, I might be able to do so in installments...

 

But all in all, you really don't have to; I do humbly and sincerely thank you from the very middle of my heart for offering to do so.

You won't have to pay me back, it's what friends are for. I'll just scroll around for cheap point commissions on dA, I'll tell you if I find anyting

If you find something and let me know ahead of time @Swinton, I could try to gather up some funds to go in on something with you, if you think it would raise the price range to match something that would be budget-acceptable exceptional.
