ManaMinori 4,149 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 Anyone remember PeeWee, the phoenix Spike saved and hatched in Dragon Quest? They showed Spike having to take him back to his parents, in a brief background picture, but why did Spike have to give him up? Why was PeeWee written out before we could see Spike could teach him what it meant to be a pony? Will we ever see PeeWee again? How would you guys write him back into an episode? 1 Under the Jellicle Moon- a site with cuteness, cat boys, and comic strips / Star Dreams Fanclub
Sporemane 546 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 Iv'e been wondering the same thing. I think the writers just forgot about peewee. Keeping him in wouldn't of add much to the show.
Buck Testa 5,505 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 I heard they caught PeeWee doing something bad in a movie theater, which is why he had to stop appearing in kids shows real answer: I'm not sure, they've been kind of allergic to the idea of giving Spike character development up until recently. Maybe they will bring PeeWee back, but it would have to have an explanation on where the birds been. 4 http://www.fimfiction.net/user/Billy%20G%20Gruff http://billyggruff.deviantart.com/ https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCPVpSXbUpDYTcaFHTPiPjYA

Kyoshi Frost Wolf 42,195 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 My assumption is a pretty simple one: They gave him back to his parents, or something. I would assume that would be the best possible thing, but I too was disappointed when he was written out so quick. Having some kind of reunion episode between them two would be lovely. 1 Redeem me into childhood. Show me myself without a shell.
Sunny Fox 5,953 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 One episode does state that Pee Wee was returned to his parents. As for why, I guess the writers were worried that it would encourage viewers to illegally adopt wild animals, or something. 1 Happy minion of The Fabulous One! Cleverclover 1,526 May 3, 2016 Share May 3, 2016 I have absolutely no idea, and to date, I think that getting rid of him was one of the biggest mistakes the show staff has made by far. To quote one of my most-broohoofed posts: The one potential episode that I simply cannot believe no one bothered to make is an episode that would have focused on Spike taking care of Peewee and ultimately sending him back to his family. The setup was perfect. For the first time in his life, Spike would have been given a responsibility greater than what he has ever known before. Not only does he learn what it means to care for a pet, he learns about just how strong the bonds of family are. But because of this, Twilight eventually recommends to Spike that he return Peewee to his family. At first, Spike blatantly refuses, drawing off of the lesson he learned in Dragon Quest that Peewee does not need to be with other Phoenixes to feel where he belongs. But Twilight informs him that he isn't considering the perspective of Peewee's family, stating that his absence likely devastated them, while also adding that if someone came and took Spike away from her, she would devastated as well. So with that thought in mind, Spike finally agrees, and the episode ends with him tearfully returning Peewee where he belongs. This would have been a spectacular episode full of awesome development for Spike (which, Lord knows, is something he needs) as well as intense feels. Why an episode like this was not made when it was already set up so perfectly will always be a mystery to me. And to make it even worse, what do we get instead of this? A series of pictures at the beginning of Just for Sidekicks which explain Peewee's unceremonious removal from the show, whilst also implying that Spike was a lousy caretaker and was also not the least bit sad or upset about returning him to his family. Whirlwind 1,060 May 4, 2016 Share May 4, 2016 To be honest, I would have never thought of PeeWee "There is no greater love than to lay down one's life for one's friends"
FlareGun45 2,221 May 5, 2016 Share May 5, 2016 Spike giving PeeWee back to his parents was the right thing to do, but at the same time, that should've been a Spike episode! It would've been alot better than Just for Sidekicks probably! I really hope they bring PeeWee back to the series one day reuniting with Spike!
