I never thought I would find a digimon thread even though it brings back some memories. I still own the physical copy of Digimon World 2 and 3, and Digimon Rumble Arena. My Interest of the series lasted till the end of the Digimon Tamers season. I still own the D3 and D-Power digivices although I did lose my blue card that came with the D-Power Digivice. I have bad memories on D-Power and I got stuck at the 3rd area and had to grind on levels and farm items. I still own one of the old Digivices that similar to tamagotchi device, but I probably Lost it. Digimon World 1 was I liked the most, but probably my brother borrowed it from a friend. I still remember how I first cleared digimon world 1 and if my memory serves right, I cleared the game with monzaemon. The other device I owned was the D-Terminal as well.

 

I do recall that Digimon season 1 and 2 was aired on nicktoons channel, but the Digimon Tamers didn't make it on the air. I'm guessing these 2 seasons lasted on the nicktoons channel till the end of these 2 seasons.

Aside from Digimon World 2 which was my brother's and the Digi-gotchi toy, I did have those games you mentioned which was an experience to remember. I think my favorite one out of the PS1 genre is definitely the original Digimon World. There was something special about raising and taking care of your Digimon like a real pet to achieve greater heights.

 

When it comes to the Digivice toys, I did complete the D-3 game twice. The second time was when I had to restart all over again because of battery power. I also completed the D-Tector 1.0 game and boy, it was a challenge. I did prefer those two than the others because the Digivice and the D-Power sometimes rely on luck for Digimon to Digivolve correctly.

If we're talking toys, the only one I ever had was that season 3 Digivice. The that had a game on it that I had no idea how to play and was more like a useless chia-pet.

 

Not to sound bitter or anything I mean it wasn't like it was my money being spent or anything, just that out of all my Digimon experiences, that toy was easily the one I did not enjoy.

Ah, Digimon. I may be one of the very few people to not enjoy season 3 as much as the first 2 or the one after. (yes, i enjoyed Digimon Frontier, sue me!) Nothing to do with the characters, and the Chinese mythology theme of the Devas and Sovereigns was fantastic, but the overly dark tone was.....uncharacteristic for Digimon.

I love this show, I'd say Digimon xros would be my favorite with Frontier and Tamers coming in at second and third respectively. 

 

My favourite moment being the one where all the leaders from every Digimon series came together to help fight the Xros villain. It was just so epic.

Oh and Season Four didn't get dark with Lucemon and the Royal Knights? Or basically anything that had to do with Duskmon and his true identity? Not that I disagree that Season 3 got dark in places but at least for me, it was only the kind of messed up you really recognize when you look back on it. As a kid, I didn't really understand the scale or themes at play.

 

More to the point though, why would we sue you? Frontier was awesome. Turning into the ass kicking digimon? What kid wouldn't want that?!
