What ponies do you want to see that haven't been in the show?

I think there quite a few comjc ponies (and toyline exclusives) who could be fun to show up in an episode or two, with some speakin g lines, maybe some interaction with one of the Manes.

 

Marcie Pan, and Faun Doo (the Phemomnomenon sellers)

They could best be paired off with Pinkie

 

Cirrus Cloud (one of Fluttershy's Flight camp bullies)

could best interact with RD or FS

 

Long Play (33 1/2 LP.(Dj Pon3's brother))

Could interact with Pinkie (since She's seen the most interacting with Vinyl)

 

Radiant Hope (Sombra's colthood friend)

Could be seen in the Empire, hanging with Spike

 

Star Dreams (because cuteness, and she should be more than a mere toyline exclusive)

 

The G3 ponies, Toola Roola, Star Catcher, and Sunny Daze

 

And, of course, Sunset Shimmer

Starswirl the Bearded tops my list. I'm also really huge into seeing them bring Flax Seed and Wheat Grass over from the comics. Finally Tiberius. Luna's pet would be an easy nod to the comics fans.

How about if we actually see somepony, anypony, actually related to Scootaloo? It's getting downright ominous that no kith or kin is ever mentioned for her.

I'm not too well-versed in the comics, and they aren't ponies, but I would like to see the deer in the show. I know I'm not alone in this.

 

I don't know enough of the toy exclusives to say which ones should be in the show. Frankly, most of them are forgettable and/or easily confused anyway.

 

As for EqG characters, throw us a little Lemon Zest in pony form. She got robbed, only having one line in the third movie, and I'd love to see what her cutie mark is.

I second this, too. The fact that she's been running around with no known family for so long is a bit uncomfortable when you think about it.

 

In headcanon, I'd imagine her being from some kind of foster home or group home, which would be why she never talks about having/not having a family and why FiM won't show it. You never really see this kind of thing in any kids' shows outside of Hey Arnold! and it would be interesting if MLP took a shot at that. Maybe it's my urban upbringing, having known kids from group homes, but I'd love to see an unconventional family situation on Scootaloo's side.

Don't know how much stock Word of Faust has nowadays, but she always just said they were busy with work and always hired a babysitter who sucks at her job , she apparently dislikes the dark ground fans took with her lack of parents. Though I do wish the show would have an excuse to revea-

 

 

I've always fancied the idea of having Scootaloo's parents hating Rainbow Dash because they think she's a bad role model(at this point they got plenty of material to work with, though whether or not that's a good thing is up for debate ) and at one point ban Scootaloo from hanging out with her, and Rainbow tries to prove to them that she's both a good role model and sister for Scoots. An episode would have an excuse to finally show her parents(who I don't think should be pegasi), it'd give more insight on their relation from RD's POV(at this point we've only ever seen it from Scoots), and it'd actually let Rainbow's other arc feel like it's actually worth something this season.....Please?  

 

But yeah, we need Scootaparents at this point, they're long overdue just like the other Pegaparents

I think people are more lenient on Spike lack of parents since most of us probably just see Twilight and her family fill those roles, with Scootaloo...they haven't really had anyone other than the surrogate Rainbow Dash, and that didn't start till S3

That's interesting. Does that mean that the G3 Rainbow Dash is different than the G4? I thought name alone was supposed to imply they were the same character.

In my headcanon, Scootaloo is the daughter of the mayor of Cloudsdale. She ran away from home before being sent to a boarding school in Canterlot. She keeps her background secret because she doesn't want anypony thinking she's as snooty as Diamond Tiara used to be.

Twilight is Spike's family. We've seen what most dragons are like. Twilight's influence is what made Spike the dragon he is today.
