Ohhh my gosh how did I miss this?? Can I please join if it's not too late?  The story seems to have come to a good point right now for me to jump in.

Name: Bayou Starling
Gender: Male
Age: 18
Appearance: Short, messy black hair. Blue eyes. Slim. Ears pierced.
Personality: Happy-go-lucky, Bayou is very open and friendly. He is loyal to a fault, and often jumps into situations without thinking. He's quick on his feet and in mind, extremely curious about anything and everything. He loves the sea and the sky, and dreams of being able to fly.

DRAGON:
Name: Araluen
Gender: Female
Age: 18
Appearance:  

 

Personality: Wise and level-headed, she is fairly secretive and likes to keep to herself. She says little, but speaks volumes in her actions. She loves nothing more than floating along in the sea, and adores rain. She is extremely protective and motherly, kind and gentle when teaching.
Flight: Water

Tends to bite off more then she can chew and her curiosity nearly always gets the better of her. Quite intelligent when it comes to matters of forest and jungle life.

Sorry for not getting back to you sooner. Unfortunetly, we are currently full. Depending on how the rp goes however, I may open up slots for teachers. You won't have to change anything except for the age, if that's the case.

I think I may have a solution to your problem. I could just create a dragon and human oc for your characters. If that doesn't work, then I think you may have to have your characters bond with each other.
