How did you find MLP Forums?: While I was looking through the Equestria daily website


How you became a fan of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic: Through a number of sources to be honest. I was originally looking up some Pokemon movesets on Smogon (pokemon website) and when I was scrolling down, I saw a Brony with a profile pic of Twilight Sparkle. I thought it looked pretty cute at first, but I obviously didn’t paid that much attention at the time. Then in 2012, while I was hanging around with my school-mates at lunch-time, I saw a girl on her laptop watching the episode “Over a barrel”. I thought to myself “hey, it’s that pony I saw on Smogon”, but it wasn’t until 2013 when I finally saw my very first MLP episode on TV. It was “The Mysterious Mare Do Well” and I loved it. After I watched that episode, I wanted to watch more of My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and I wanted to watch it from the very beginning. So I went to the store, bought the Season 1 DVD box set and ever since then, I ABSOLUTELY LOVED MLP!!! =3 <3

Hi everypony =D, My name is SolarFlare13, but you can call me “Sunny” for short X3 <3

I’m 19 years old and I live in New South Wales, Australia.

Although Im usually a very shy and timid person to begin with, I’m not afraid to show my love and admiration to all the Bronies and Pegasisters out there and I’d love to make as many friends as possible =3 <3

I based my pony OC, Solar Flare on what I really look like in real life X3

He is yellow, got a black mane and a white star as a cutie mark.

He is a unicorn who currently works as a royal guard for princess Celestia.

He got his cutie mark after he saved Canterlot from a deadly meteor shower.

 

Besides my love for ponies and whenever I have free time, I love to play a lot RPG and Adventure-related games. I like playing Pokemon, Final Fantasy, Super Smash Bros, Mario Kart and Legend of Zelda. I’m also a bit of a car nut thanks to an Aussie-racing series known as the V8 Supercars. It’s very popular where I live and it’s similar to Nascar.

I’m also an artist who loves to draw. I usually do it in my spare time and I am pretty good at it. I’m very creative and I like to draw a lot of different things, including pokemon, cars, DC superheroes, animals and (of course) ponies =D <3

 

As a brony, I like to do in-depth reviews and give off my opinions/ discuss about various episodes of MLP (including the fan-made ones).

I also like to listen to a lot of conspiracy theories (the backstories/ possible origins of various characters/ places) relating to the show as I find it interesting. One good example would be the origins of King Sombra and the Crystal empire. There hasn’t been that much information about either in the show and I’d love to know.

 

…but the one thing I love to do the most is play fan-made MLP games like: Ponyvania, MLP rise of the Clockwork Stallions, Pony Fantasy 6 and Legends of Equestria, just to name a few. I wonder why Hasbro HASN’T made an official MLP game for the DS, X-box, Playstation or any game console in general.  I know it would sell well amongst us Bronies and Pegasisters.

 

Out of the mane 6, my favourite pony is Applejack because I LOVE HER SOUTHERN ACCENT, her hark-working nature and how much I can relate to her as a character. She’s Honest, kind and wouldnt mind helping any-pony in need, just like me  :smug: <3

 

I’ve also grown to love Pinkie Pie and Twilight over time, especially Pinkie Pie with her ‘Pinkie sense’ and her tendency of breaking the laws of physics and logic in general + she’s super adorable  :pinkie:  <3

I love Twilight because she is super-smart and the fact that she will do anything for her friends. Hell, I even hugged her in real life  :wub:  <3

 

My favourite MLP episode has got to be “Luna Eclipsed”. I loved the way how Princess Luna is trying to fit in with the rest of the other ponies despite it being Nightmare Night and being locked away for a thousand years, especially with “DAT ROYAL CANTERLOT VOICE!!!

I will say this tho, She does look VERY pretty!!!

 

Other episodes that I’ve liked in the show are:

- Look Before You Sleep

- Fall weather Friends

- A Dog and Pony Show

- It’s about time

- MMMystery on the Friendship Express

- Castle mane-ia

 

There’s just too many to list here, so I’ve only listed the ones that I like the most ;) <3

 

As for my favourite song from the show? I do like the ‘Cutie Mark Crusaders’ song, ‘A True True Friend’, 'This Day Aria’ and ‘The Smile song’ but my actual favourite is ‘Babs Seed’. I know the whole lyrics to that song and it’s so darn catchy!!! X3

 

…but yeah, I really do hope that I get the chance to make A LOT of new friends here and hopefully see some of you guys playing Legends of Equestria with me =) <3 (obviously when the servers are up X3)

Every-pony's up to Season 6 except me X'( <3

Yet, I'm still waiting for the next MLP DVD of Season 5 to come out in Australia

(Yes I'm a bit old fashioned, sue me X3 <3 I know every-pony's gonna tell me that you can watch it online, but I like the suspense of waiting for the next DVD to come out  :pout:)

I became a brony in a similar way. There was a few girls that I sat at with during lunch at school, and they talked about MLP a lot, and I became curious about it. I soon watched my first episode, "It's About Time," and I fell in love with it ever since! :mlp_yeehaa:
I became a brony in 2013, around the time when the first Equestria Girls movie came out, if I remember correctly. :mlp_huh:
