gaming E3 Conferences Are Now Up!

With E3 literally only 10 days away, we the list of conferences up and what order they will go in (Super glad that I have work off as of right now, hopefully they don't change the schedule). They are as follows:

EA - Jun 12 5:30PM

Bethesda - Jun 12 5:48PM

Microsoft - Jun 13 9:30AM

Ubisoft - Jun 13 1:00PM

Sony - Jun 13 6:00PM

Nintendo - Jun 14 9:00AM

Now a couple things to point out:

  • Square Enix will not be having a conference this year. Guess after not having any actual games coming out last year it really annoyed the fans. So the chances of seeing KH3 release date or the FF7 Remake release date you should set expectations to low, low, low, low.
  • EA's conference is short because they are doing kind of their own event outside of the conference called EA Play.
  • Watch_Dogs 2 is more or less confirmed at this point, so we can expect that from Ubisoft.
  • We know new consoles are coming from Xbox and Sony.
  • Microsoft confirmed their conference will be 90 minutes long.
  • Nintendo claims the ONLY game they will be showing is Zelda. This could explain why they are on the final day all by themselves, to distance themselves as much as they can from their competition.

Excited for Microsoft's, I felt their conferences these last few years have been great, including 2013 as far as showing games go(the only reason it got a ton of shit was because of BS outside of the conference itself).

Hopefully Sony's conference will show games that actually release this year

EA sometimes has good games, and some I'm admittedly excited for, but it's usually bogged down by a ton of bullshit and lots of focus on their sports games. Expect a really long on stage interview with another sports star

Ubisoft: See EA

Bethesda: Hopefully they'll have more to show, including the possibility of a new IP, their conference last year was surprisingly great

I really hope Nintendo has a huge surprise, because I find it hard to believe that they're gonna have all that floor space dedicated for Zelda, but I'm not holding my breath. Still, even if they do stick to their guns, I'm at least excited for Zelda. But still...

Well Pokemon Sun and Moon have been confirmed to be featured on Nintenod's E3 livestream on the 14th and Pokemon Go will be there on the 15th.

Besides that I am not really all the interested in this year's E3 conferences.

Definitely excited for Microsoft's conference, though these new console models are a tad concerning...I hope they don't make the current ones vastly obsolete. I also hope they have a bunch of games saved up for Backwards Compatibility. What better to celebrate it being a year since the feature was announced than by giving a bunch of new games for it? Would be cool.

The other conferences don't interest me much, especially Nintendo. I don't even know why they are having a conference at all at this point.

INFINITE WARFARE!!! That's what I can't wait for. Stupid fans who deny the hype, I'm gonna play it. Because they are judging a book by it's cover.

I'm interested in seeing what Battlefield 1 looks like, I'm rather curious about it, and it could very well be a fantastic game.

Also, if it does well, even at launch, I can see EA getting props and getting back into people's good books.

Ubisoft, ehhh.... Watch Dogs was a huge disappointment, so I don't really have any hopes for the sequel.

Sony and Microsoft, not too interested in.

Nintendo on the other hand, I've been anticipating Zelda Wii U for the longest time, even if I'm rather annoyed by the unnecessary delay.

Hope they at least show some other stuff, though.

Why is Watch_Dogs 2 a thing?

Watch_Dogs wasn't a horrible game, but it wasn't the most compelling or simply interesting either. I played it for like 2 weeks and never did again after that. The story felt generic and all your left with after the story is the extremely small open world to explore, doing repetitive side missions and objectives. I'd love to see how Watch_Dogs 2 is going to amaze everyone.

Watch_Dogs was a huge financial success for Ubisoft regardless of the mixed reception. It doesn't surprise me that there's gonna be another game

The only thing that concerns me is I feel like at this point I personally don't care about older games at the moment because I can play all older games on my older systems. I wish they would focus on getting new titles out there to justify our purchase of NEW hardware. So far we've gotten remaster after remaster...

I wonder what Bethesda has in store for us. I would love to see a new Fall Out game.

It's waaaaayyy too early for that. Sorry to crush the dreams, but Fallout 4's DLC isn't even completely out yet.

Gonna be "that guy", I actually am not looking forward to Bethesda anymore. I was and I loved how Doom turned out good, but Doom was developed by id. Bethesda has become a freakin' joke lately. They keep promising us the same stuff, but their games suffer the same issues they always have. I love Fallout 4, but its release has been a disaster. It suffers the same ungodly load times that all their other games do on consoles. The same choppy framerates, the same crashing issues, the same bugginess. And when I point this out people go "get it on PC". What is the point of releasing a game on two other platforms if you don't give a shit about those platforms to where you release SUCH an inferior version that you're more or less telling those consumers "thanks for the cash, suckers!"

Fallout 4's mod release has also been a nightmare. First of all, giving it to one console first is a terrible idea, considering the PS4 version of the game runs slightly (and I use that term loosely) better than the Xbox One version. Then the fiasco where Bethesda wasn't even checking if the people uploading the mods actually OWNED said mods.

I have had falling hopes for Bethesda for a while, but unfortunately when I voice them people insist Bethesda makes amazing games and "just look at Skyrim!" Skyrim was a huge disappointment for me. Same slowness, same bugs, same bad loads, and a majority of the environment is snowy tundra. The unscripted dragons were annoying, buggy and stupid most of the time. I think a lot of people get absorbed into the lore of Bethesda's games so much that they overlook how bad the games really are.

I just can't get excited about a company that REGULARLY shits on console gamers and produces buggy, broken messes that they expect modders to fix for them. This is coming from a PC gamer. Todd Howard does nothing but flat out lie on stage, I am not looking forward to seeing more from them anymore. I used to love you Bethesda, but you've lost my love. I thought you'd learn your lesson after the bugginess of Fallout 3 on the PS3, but you clearly learned nothing.
