I think Guardians of Harmony will be after the movie

I can see FIM ending before the movie and GOH taking place afterwards. It's the perfect opportunity for Hasbro reeling in a wider audience for their franchise.

IMO, FIM will continue as long as it's profitable and/or they still have ideas for stories to tell with it.

Guardians of Harmony would make a great spin-off or side series, it has the potential for a great premise

Correct. The way people are talking you would think they already confirmed a new show. This fall IDW is doing a GoH comic series to coincide with the toyline. That is all that is confirmed.

Assuming Guardians of Harmony goes beyond comics, but I kinda doubt it'll be a TV series . Maybe a reference here and there in season 7 (assuming there's one), but I don;t think it'll be a tv show
