Hello there! I recently got into this show and by recently I mean I bingewatched the first half yesterday and by golly gosh I love it! It's interesting and funny and I could go on and on but I'll spare the rather uninteresting rambles about it.

 

Anyone else seen it, and if so, did you like it? What do you like? 

 

can be just incoherent exclamations because that's me on the inside

 

If you haven't seen it, I suggest at least checking it out! I haven't seen any of the past series (crime I know) but I still am enjoying it immensely!

I have seen every single episode of the series so far, and I am really enjoying it.

For starters the animation is gorgeous which is a given sense it is animated by Studio Mir the same company that animated The Legend of Korra, and leads to some pretty great action sequences.

And I really enjoy the dynamics between the characters.

My favorites would be Pidge and Shiro.

Funny thing, I just discovered this show the other day and started watching it. I'm only on the second episode so far, but so far I'd say I'm liking it. A big plus is the CGI for Voltron isn't obnoxious like other shows that try to combine traditional animation with CGI. it's so good i sometimes even forget the lions are CG at all

 

Also, Keith is my favorite character so far, just saying.

I marathoned this show a couple of weeks ago and I loved it, I've never liked mecha/power ranger esc. shows.. But the characters in this show are way to likeable!

 

Heck, I enjoy the character interactions above all else.. Also using the animation team who worked on Korra doesn't hurt either!

You my friend are in for trash hell. Love Live! is brilliant (or at least I enjoyed it a lot!)

I was getting a lot of Korra vibes, no wonder! Like the over-the-top facial expressions? It all makes sense now.

OMG same!!! It's the first sort of mecha-ish cartoon deal I've gotten really invested in hahaha - the characters are lovely, and feel really... Human, you know? They're amazingly well fleshed out.

I'm on episode 10 of S1. I feel like weeb trash, and I never really liked SOL anime, but it's so good I can't stop watching. All of the characters are great, the songs are great,  the app's addicting, and it actually has a lot of intriguing storylines. Why did Silvagunner have to convince me to watch it reee

Holy shit, really? I didn't know Korra's animators worked on this, yeah, I definitely need to watch it! It did give off a Korra-esque vibe but I didn't know it actually was by the Korra people.

 

Also, I don't know who this person is, but she looks really cute!

Well my friend made me watch the extended first episode yesterday and I haven't been gripped by a pilot episode like that in quite a while. I would've binge-watched if I didn't have to get up for class this morning.  :-P

Yeah, I know I'm necroing this thread, but if you didn't know already, the official release date for Season 2 has finally been announced for January 20, 2017, complete with teaser trailer.

While I wish that it could premiere sooner, the trailer makes this season look really interested.

I am definitely looking forward to it.
