But I have decided to make this thread about easter eggs that can be found within the show. So I will list off some of the ones I have noticed myself. My most recent was in Pinkie Apple Pie Which was when they were visiting Golden Delicious's home. I think it's an allusion to how Pinkie Pie was going to be Suprise in fim. Since you can see a pair of wings and three ballons up in the right hand corner positioned in a way that resembles Suprise's cutiemark which both images are below.My second one is referring to an obscure anime named Cromartie High which this takes place in the second half of return of harmony at the beginning of season 2. The exact time it happens is at 7 minutes 59 seconds into the episode pinkies hair can be spotted doing a rather odd thingwhich looks similar to what the character named Hayashida's hair usually does in the anime. My last one is in the epiode flutter brutter. It is exactly at 13 minutes and 14 seconds its easy to miss but there is a Link pony that passes by in the background. So if anyone else has any easter eggs they would like to share please post them below I look forward to seeing all of them. This episode had an quite a few (Slender Pony is one of the bigger ones - and blink and you'll miss it). There are two types of Easters Eggs in MLP. The more obvious pop-culture references like Pinkie dressed like Marty McFly can be quite smile worthy moments, but for me, it is in the clever hidden moments like this that I really appreciate how much love the staff gives to this show. A subtle recognition of the shows development history is something that only a few shows know that they can get away with and it not be self-indulgent. I changed my name again cuz lately fluttershy has been more my favorite pony :3 I like her innocence, and I think I may get active in the fluttershy fan club. I really like a lot of the other main 6 too though. I'm also a FlutterDash supporter. I also like the more subtle nods to pop culture and the previous generations of mlp. But every episode I watch I like to scan for any easter eggs which I see alot of. Way to many to post. I mostly like the nods to previous gens which are pretty much to the older demographic that grew up MLP like I did with the show in the 80's and the 90's. But thank you very much. I might post anymore that I see within the show. Its SUPRISE. yay who pinkie was ment to first be lol It would have been very interesting to see Suprise have a main role instead of being in the background as one of the wonderbolts.
