Would Sunset accept being a princess if she went back?

I can't imagine she would want a title and crown, even if she were to go back and if she were coronated at any time (sooner or later). Not after the whole Princess of Fall Formal fiasco, and her Reformation.  She strikes me as the kind of pony remaining a unicorn, especially trying (and failing) to get her way being an alicorn princess in the past.

 

Or, (on the off chance that she does return, and given any sort of title and position), I can't imagine she would WANT to be artificiality ascended to an alicorn, after her delusions of power, and would just settle for being a unicorn   delegate of Harmony working as equal to Luna, while also being her student/mentor/friend. (Seeing how they have so much in common)

 

What do you guys think? Would Shimmy accept being a princess? An alicorn? Or humble herself with a lower position and default pony race?

Considering being a princess is more than ruling and having power, I think Sunny is either worthy or on her way to be so if she dedicates to avoid magic make the human world going bonkers

In my headcanon Sunset was originally supposed to be Celestia's successor as the Princess of the Sun, so I don't think she'd turn it down. I just think she's finally reached the maturity level to earn it. I don't know if it will ever happen, though. While I believe Sunset will go back to Equestria in the final EQG movie, I doubt she'd become a princess unless she really does replace Celestia.

while the question of whether she has earned it yet or not remains debateable, the question I'm asking is would she accept, after her original view of power and ascension? I know she's not the pony she was back then, but stil....seems like she'd be more willing to go the humble route and decline those wings and crown, and just be happy as is.

Sunset has more than proven herself that she is worthy of becoming a princess given her previous accomplishments, yet I think she feels that she isn't worthy of the title because of what happened in the past. Despite having changed and embracing the Magic of Friendship, Sunset might still have some insecurities revolving about ascending to an alicorn. She may be afraid that becoming a princess would take her back to the life she had where she thought she deserved princesshood rather than earn it the proper way.
