How would you feel about a brony joining not just the DHX creative team of MLP but the writing team?

Well it would be... Interesting... Especially if MLP changed into a more futuristic theme because of it.

A similar question was posted on Equestria Daily although I didn't answer it. The idea of someone from the fandom being hired by DHX or even the writing staff is a possibility, yet it would require knowing the ins and outs of what they do and having the appropriate degrees and whatnot just to name a few examples.

What our friend above said pretty much sums it up.

 

Considering the demographics group that most Bronies tend to exist in (teens and young adults), its certainly plausible, but not incredibly likely that an actual fan of the show would be hired to DHX or its writing staff. DHX isn't exactly a grassroots org anymore, and I doubt they would be keen to hiring people who haven't had experience in the industry first. It would also probably be worth mentioning that its not like Bronies would be inherently any better at writing for the show than anyone else.

It would be terrible. We don't need yet another writer who not only caters to Luna and Chrysalis Fans, but also treats Celestia like shit and even wants her to die.
