What's a montage?

 

A photo that has been edited by putting parts from other photos. Say for example, I tweak a photo of Luna, making her have Celestia's tail and wear AJ's hat.

Take this Starlight Glimmer image, make her eyes red, Put a hammer and Sickle (Communist Symbol) for a Cutie mark, put a soviet style hat on her head.
