There are legends scattered throughout Equestria. Some forgotten, some that persevered, some that were fabricated at a whim, and some that hold only an once of truth from the original telling.

Among these age-old stories, include a plethora of beings. The Barbarian Valran, and his forest of blood. King Illem, and his kingdom of stone. The executioner Alastor's battlefield. All of which who's tales are soaked in bloodshed, as they fought their way towards heights great enough to be engraved in time.

But curiously enough, they seem to be gone, from history. Only a select few families still tell the tales of these monsters of their time, and seldom few public books even dare to mention their names. Is it to conceal a darker era, a blotch in the otherwise pure world? Or...To keep anyone from seeking out a story that might very well be alive?

Action/Adventure roleplay here. Yes people, I am giving this whole RP thing another shot! Looking for a group of people who would wanna do a little exploration, looking into various legends rumored around Equestria and beyond.

I'll be taking around four entries total, any more would be slightly crowded. ^_^

Current Entries:

1. Hazard Time

2. Driz

3. Mega Ampharos

4.

Considering this is action/adventure with obvious fantasy elements, would we be free to incorporate tabletop elements in here?  For example,  I'm thinking of bringing in Proud Ametrine as a Bloodrager (Barbarian/Sorcerer) from Pathfinder.

I'd be happy to accept that, as long as it's not, like, a human. This isn't being ran with dice, by the way, either--personal interpretation on what should hit, what shouldn't, will be the decider for combat. As long as everyone's fair, there shouldn't be a problem...

Feel free to, but make sure to, say, ponify her. ^_^

Oh, she's already ponified :P  Gotcha, I can RP her pretty well ovo  In the campaign I'm doing, she has a mythril breastplate and flaming earthbreaker.  Do you need me to nerf her for this RP, or would it be fine?

Mythril, and a flaming earthbreaker...

After doing minimal research, I think mythril is a fair armor, as long as you don't abuse it's effectiveness. As in, pulling a 'but she didn't even feel it, thanks to the armor' type deal.

Flaming Earthbreaker is pretty much a giant fire hammer, right? That's fine, work in a reason for the way it's enchanted, and we're in business. XD

She had a lot of money to work with, partly because she stole it from her mother, partly because she took over an organized crime syndicate.  It also helps that her brother is a magical prodigy.  None of it was cheap, but she's an utter beast xp  Mythril is a very hard metal, but since it's a breastplate, it only covers her torso.  Her limbs, neck, and head are still exposed.

Some other features she has (using the class rules) are that she is able to Bloodrage and has resistance to fire.  The first one implies an altered state of mind where her damage output, mental and physical fortitude increase, but her evasion decreases.  For the second, as she has an Infernal bloodline, she has an innate resistance to fire and has access to certain spells.

As for what actually matters in this campaign and why she's here, her brother was kidnapped by her mother, and so that makes up her character arc.  She's quick to anger, though tries to keep that in check through rigorous exercise and other stress-relieving activities.

Gotcha, gotcha, she sounds awesome. XD Accepted; and perhaps Valran will have a prize for her...

Mind if I ask, how fast do you want the story to progress? Like, how often do you want people to post? I'm seriously considering joining this, but given the fact I have been god-awful busy with work this month, and the fact that I'm already in two other RP's, I'm not sure how active I can be... Maybe I can manage a post per day (around 400~500 characters or so), if you're fine with that.

I'll also have to come up with a new OC to fit this, so I'll get to that asap.  :please:

One post a day fits great! ^_^ I've been roleplaying with people with busy schedules for a long while, so I'm really fine with it as long as you don't, say, completely forget about it. Or decide to stop posting without giving us a heads-up. XD

Of course! ^_^ If you two'd like, I can start up the RP now; hopefully, more would join. Or I would be content to wait for another contestant, if you two would prefer to wait for a third.

I'll leave the decision up to you two. XD

Okay, opening post for the RP is up--feel free to have your OC discover any fable from the three I've been mentioning in any way you'd like. If you need help kickstarting your character to go investigate, then I'll be glad to pull an excuse from thin air to peak their interest. ^_^

If this RP is successful, then I'll craft more Fables to add to the roleplay, but for now, Illem, Alastor, and Valran are the only ones.  :adorkable:

As a side-note...

King Illem's territory is in the Mysterious South; go along the railroad's heading out from Equestria long enough, you'll see great plains made entirely out of stone, as well as a castle that's been reduced to rubble, from erosion and attacks...

Valran's forest is to the West of Equestria; the forest itself is infamous for being rather dangerous on it's own, but the eye-catcher of this area is that the entire forest is strangely tinted red...

Alastor's battlefield is in Griffonstone territory, to the East; little known facts of Griffonstone's history is buried in this area, that looks like one battle after another was fought...And amongst the plethora of weapons stuck into the ground, perhaps a veteran's heart beats on...

@@Driz,

For some reason, when you said that, I was expecting the Pink Panther theme for some reason. Maybe I'm just too tired with the holidays...

Wasn't disappointed, though; Danganronpa is probably one of my favorite game soundtracks. I liked Goodbye Despair better, but, eh, opinions are opinions.
