iOS Gamers-Recommendations?

Bright Honor

Recommended Posts

This year I plan to switch from Android to the iOS platform, namely via the supposed "iPhone Edition". IE because iOS is the superior platform for mobile gaming. So any recommendations please? Paid or free doesn't matter. And please keep Android vs iOS arguments out of this thread please.

Well here are some games that I have in my iphone/ipad:

- Lara Croft Go. Costs $1.99. It's a nice game if you're into puzzle solving, though not a shooter game just to remind you.

- CandyMeleon. Free. Fun game when it comes to want to score the highest.

- Halo: Spartan Assault. $2.99. Action shooter game.

- Plants Vs. Zombie. $0.99. Maybe an old game now, but I still enjoy playing this over and over again.

-My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic. Free. A village simulator game. Can also buy some characters from the show as well if you have enough resources.

Well, here are my selection of games that I have for the IOS. Hope this helps. :rarity:

Lords Mobile: A fun war game where you can build and manage your own turf, fight rivals, join or manage your own guild, slay monsters, build troops, recruit and level up heroes and participate in fun kingdom events. Make sure you join a strong guild because sadly, the Chinese players dominate most of everything since they get discounts on purchases for some reason. Also, beware of bully guilds. This is why I said to join a strong guild that you have allies that can help you compete against those bully guilds. The really great thing about this game is it's notification system is spot-on. It always notifies you of rallies, scouts on your turf, attacks on your turf, construction completions, research completions and other stuff. As soon as scouts or enemy troops are deployed, it notifies you right away. Also, when you shield your turf and shelter your troops, it'll also give you a 10-minute warning to let you know that your shield will expire in 10 minutes or your troops will come out of the shelter in 10 minutes. Also, the battle sequence in this game is amazing, which is what drew me to it.

Racing Rivals: If you like racing, then this is one of the best drag racing games. You have over 50 different cars to choose from and it is very easy to learn. You can race online live with other racers in comparison to other drag racing games, where you're always racing against a computer. In the racing lobbies, you can just free-race or of you're daring enough, raise the stakes a little by betting money. If you really wanna push it, you can race pink slips. Beware, if you lose a pink slip race, your precious ride goes bye-bye. Sadly, some people on Racing Rivals are known for using pink slip racing and money betting as a scam just to bully and get a step ahead.

War Dragons: If you're into dragons and all, then this is a really fun game. Like Lords Mobile, you can manage your dragons and defenses. The difference is, when attacking an enemy turf, you use your dragons to attack and it's also real-time war, so if that person is part of a guild, their guildmates can help them defend. When you're being attacked, make sure you're part of a strong guild and you've got your defenses up.

Dragon Ball Z Dokkan Battle: If you're into Dragonball Z, this is a really fun game. It's like pokemon in a sort of way, as cards are divided into 5 types: INT (Intelligence), TEQ (Technical), AGL (Agility), STR (Strength), PHY (Physical). Int beats Teq, Teq beats Agl, Agl beats Str, Str beats Phy. If you took this pattern and turned it around, each type would block against the respective type and take less damage. The biggest issue with the game is the summon rate. You have 6 different rarities of cards, two of which can only be achieved by "awakening" (basically making a card stronger without training it to increase it's level). The rarities are N (Normal), R (Rare), SR (Super Rare), SSR (Super-Super Rare), UR (Ultra-Rare), LR (Legendary Rare). Most of the time you'll end up getting useless R and SR cards. It's the SSR cards that really make a great team. Oh, and also, to summon, you'll need to collect and spend Dragon Stones, which is where in-app purchases may come in...but there are a lot of ways you can get dragon stones in the game without having to buy them.

It depends on what game you're looking for and what interests you. I do suggest trying them out once before you think and say that the app doesn't interest you and stuff like that.

These are the apps I may Recommend

Yo-Kai Watch Wibble Wobble - This introduces some of the yo-kais that are introduced from yo-kai watch 2 3DS game also it's a puzzle game and stages tend to get tougher as you progress and The Price increases per level cap based on the yo-kai's rank. It takes about 4k y-money to increase a Rank S yo-kai's level cap to 50 and 6k y-money to increase Rank SS yo-kai's level cap to 50. There are no lifers and pay-2-winners when scramble battle event takes effect. Score Attack is no problem if you're lucky enough to get a high score.

Pokemon Duel - Well League matches tend to get tougher as you rank up and Gym Matches is a lot tougher than the league matches so this pokemon game is strategy based. What I do know is that some pokemon figures can be most threatening such as pokemon with inflitrator, gaseous form, and shadow abilities, venusaur paired with a pokemon that can poison or use toxic, Pokemon with sand veil, and soaring ability, and pretty much a lot.

Pokemon Go - If you go out often, this app should be good for you. Just watch your surroundings more carefully.

My Little Pony Friendship is Magic - It's free to download and Village simulator. Nothing else

Plants Vs Zombies 2 - Well My brother got me into this game so if you played plants vs zombies 1 before, then you should be able to play this game

My Little pony Puzzle party - This app is probably based on toy blast and other games that are similar to it, but it gets tougher as you progress

Rollercoaster Tycoon Touch - If you like and played rollercoaster tycoon before, then you should get this game. Building Rollercoasters isn't that easy compared to RCT1 and 2.
