Is Canada going a little overboard?

Now, two more episodes of MLP of Season 7 has been aired yesterday and last Saturday, both which have yet to be aired in the US. No offense to the bronies in Canada (you're still awesome!), but I think they're trying to create spoilers ahead of time before the US even got their own release every Saturday. While I appreciate their efforts, it seems they're going a bit too far, spoiler-wise too, and need to stay on schedule like the US version as to reduce the chance of spoiling stuff. What do you guys think? Should they take it easy and not go too far ahead without ruining everyone else who has not seen them yet?

Welp, they're apparently keeping this up for the next few weeks at least and possibly the whole season. At this point I'm not sure I want them to stop now, since then I'd have to wait extra long to see the next episode, since I've watched the early ones to avoid spoilers. It'd have been better for them not to do this in the first place but the ball is rolling now.

Twilight is best pony.

Why hello MLPForums! What have ya been up to?

For a country of nice folks this new early viewing thing is quite frankly annoying I hate that I'm behind in the episodes and have to careful avoid spoilers because i dont want to watch the early Canadian releases

Is it really considered spoilers? Isn't it a TV channel that has a contract with DHX or something.

I'm assuming that DHX knew a head of time that they would be doing this.

Maybe treehouse TV payed a decent sum to play the episodes early for promotion.

Or maybe Hasbro wanted the season over so they could focus on marketing the movie

I don't really think so.

And to be honest, just like how we had episodes from season 6 aired earlier outside of the US, I am not really having all that hard a time avoiding spoilers.

So I don't really see much harm.

Non synchronized releases are becoming more and more normal in TV and especially movies. Just need to be vigilant.

I don't think they care about the online fanbase or if that fanbase has to deal with episodes coming out faster. They have shown no interest in reaching out to the fanbase, and all their social media does is target parents specifically who have toddlers, and sometimes bring up their shows. I think they barely even advertise the show.

In fact, I think they're showing two new episodes a week because they only show two episodes of the show each week. They started season 7, and they're going to keep showing all the episodes that they have, and then they might just go back to airing episodes from the beginning.

They are not spoilers, one country just decided to buy the rights and air the episodes early. Hasbro should have made a contract that did not let anyone air episodes beforehand but since they did not they are just normal episodes.

In any case it's not just Canadians watching the episodes. If you aren't from US why wait to watch episodes in when US releases them. And you could watch the episodes too for the matter.

I think people have been avoiding posting episode info quite well from what I have seen. I think some YouTube thumbnails might be an issue and I don't know about Deviantart but I have not seen the episode into posted here, Reddit or Equestria Daily so far in a way you can't avoid them. But I could be wrong.
