Do the Cutie Mark Crusaders get paid for their work?

This is something that's been in my head since On Your Marks last season, and watching Forever Filly this past weekend made me question the result of the CMC's work even more...

Do they even get paid for it?

Since they got their Cutie Marks, we've seen them help many ponies (and a griffin) find their purpose and in some cases get their cutie marks, even seeing them do house visits and meetings with concerned parents in "Fault In Our Cutie Marks". They seem to have a lot of cases and appointments based on that giant stack of paperwork in the clubhouse, so they shouldn't be doing this out of the 'love' for doing it all on its own, right? I know they're kids but it seems like they'd be earning a pretty penny for their advice and teachings. Do they get paid but we don't see it on screen... or is it just a thing they WILL get paid for once they come of age/get older? It's quite confusing.

Pretty sure they dont actually get paid atleast not yet though, I believe that they probably should be able to charge for the advice they give to ponies in the future atleast though as of how they are now I dont really see where they would even need the money since  as far as i know they are still governed by their parents or sisters.

If they get paid for it, they'll probably turn it into a habit of theirs which probably isn't a good idea and it isn't what the show is about.

Good question! Maybe they should be paid a little for their services! I ask myself the same thing about Spike if he gets paid for all he does!

Perhaps Celestia (or the local government) will give them a monthly fee for their work. That is what I assume happens with Fluttershy and Rainbow Dash. I don't think they get paid right now though.

Come to think of it, who pays for the animal sanctuary? Perhaps Fluttershy made a deal with Celestia to build the sanctuary on government land?

It's like they're volunteering for their work, they just help, and they're not paid surely. Maybe when they grow?
