Are we due for another all Mane 6 Map episode?

I think we're vastly overdue for another Map episode with all of the Mane 6. Heck, the last, and only, time this happened was Cutie Map, the very FIRST Map episode.

I don't know about a map episode. I'd prefer something sitcom-ish like "The Saddle Row Review," because for one, I think this season is way overdue a pure comedy episode, and two, that worked really well last time. A map episode could also be fun, I guess, but it's so much more impersonal.

Too bad. They're the main characters and they should be given the attention they deserve.

it would be nice to see them all on another mission, but in the end, only Fluttershy, and maybe some other one of the group was needed to get captured, and expose Starlight. 4 ponies they barely even knew wound up saving the day in the cutie map. So unless the map can call them all to equally have a hoof in solving a friendship problem, I can't see it calling all 6 again.

I kind of doubt we'll see a map mission this season sadly. They've kind of ignored the map and kicked it to the wayside-- the fact that they had no defining end game goal for the map when they made it and have just used it as a wow quest giver is kind of to blame for this-- there's no higher purpose for it, just an excuse to spin their wheels.

 

The only use that they seem to be using the map for this season is just to give starlight more legitimacy as a Mane seventh by having her go on a map mission. Past that, I expect there's not going to be a single other map mission this season.

It does seem that the map really serves no purpose other than pairing character episodes. 

Unlike all the other key parts of the show, the letters to Celestia, the box, the journal. 

 

Don't think she is a mane seventh, seems like really another main character to me. 

I'm guessing the map can call anyone. It just happened that starlight was really perfect for that mission.

I get that alot of people hold currently to the view that it can call anyone, but I don't buy it myself; I doubt we'll see any other ponies anytime soon called by it. I don't think we'll even get a M6 map episode, let alone *other* ponies at the current rate

 

I'm expecting an explanation about how her magic got mixed with it when she used it for time traveling and then fixing the table so she can be called by it, gets a throne, ect. and all that.

So? We saw what happened in the second episode and that was horrible. And you mean "we're" Twilight doesn't have much of a role this season.

After Starlight being called by the map, it just seems that ANYPONY can be called by the map! It's only a matter of time before the CMCs get called, or maybe even non-cutie marked characters like Spike and Discord! I'm sure the map would find a way!

It doesn't need to be like that second episode. 

Furthermore, while Twilight herself might not be so prominent, that's not necessarily new, and besides, she's already gotten two focus episodes. Most of the 11 episodes aired in Canada so far are focused on the mane six as well.

I don't know, but there isn't a need right now. I assume in the future there will be, possibly in the finale.
