Pinkie_Pi 348 June 10, 2017 Share June 10, 2017 Maybe the names might be different in prep school, and I don't watch the show, but isn't the Dean in charge of the students (discipline, housing, etc.) and the principal in charge of administration (finance, taxes, etc.?) And, isn't sanity really just a one-trick pony anyway? I mean all you get is one trick, rational thinking, but when you're good and crazy, oooh, oooh, oooh, the sky is the limit.-- The Tick
cmarston1 5,959 June 10, 2017 Share June 10, 2017 Maybe because it isn't a regular prep school.
Ganondorf8 11,288 June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 Maybe they were trying to make it like a college or university even though it's a preparatory school.
StormBlaze 992 June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 UK prep schools have a Headmaster/mistress, Deputy Head and then Head Teacher. I have no idea what a Dean is. We don't have then here. DeviantArt ~~~ YouTube ~~~ MLP Forum Store
Prospekt 11,018 June 12, 2017 Share June 12, 2017 (edited) I just went to a regular public high school, your typical one that Canterlot High is based off of, but we had a principal, a couple of vice principals, and a dean. I think my middle school had a dean, too. So it's certainly possible for a school that isn't a college/university to have a dean and a principal.
