In a Different Perspective

I didn't think making a topic about a single collection of art pieces would be very successful, but I found this series of pieces to be incredibly deep, and I love it. It's by a fabulous artist on DA known as CrappyUnicorn, and you should all check them out here if you haven't seen them already, though I assume some already have. A series called 'Discordantly'. It portrays a darker view of myself, as well as the series' back-story in general. Very powerful stuff, and I hope you enjoy CU's work as much as I do, and go post on some of the other amazing things they've done.

I became a monster.

And you know what?

It was easy.

Their misery is my happiness.

My pranks are their plights.

Quite simply, it all just makes me laugh.

And laughing feels good, you know?

I enjoy laughter.

And I have a fantastic sense of humor.

 

I'm hilarious.

 

Two pretty little princesses survived.

I don't know how.

Together, with thier magic...

They restored order.

My world was destroyed...

My creation...

ruined.

And then they came for me.

 

I underestimated them...

Being turned to stone is a quite horrific experience...

The pain?

Unimaginable.

But do you know...

What the worst part was?

The last thing I saw...

was her.

 

But fortunately...

I have an appreciation for beauty.
