Songbird Serenade has a security detail. What's up with that? Countess Coloratura didn't have one.

It could just be a preference or.....the music company doesn't want to lose another music star because something happened in Ponyville involving an encounter with certain ponies.

There are three things I can say about the security:

1. Coloratura may not have had any but Sapphire Shore does. It could be a preference by Rara that she felt Svengallop was all she needed around her.

2. Songbird herself is supposed to be the opposite of Sia. Very open, very personable, very much the center of attention (at least that's what I gathered from the constant pictures in the trailer) and for a celebrity with that kind of image she needs some kind of safety precautions.

3. They are there for the audience because like the Lebowski ponies, I'm getting a pretty strong Pulp Fiction reference with them.

Maybe because Songbird is in a more public situation. There are a lot of ponies there you know.

She is a popular celebrity and those kinds of people usually have security.
