Does your favorite pony reflect your ideal GF/BF (reading the OP is advisable)?

I had a discussion with another guy who wonders if each fan's most favorite pony reflects who their ideal girlfriend or boyfriend is. Of course, this is regarding the fact that most of the characters in the show are female. So if you're interested primarily in women, and your favorite character is, oh say, Discord, it would be best to describe your favorite female pony, though some of them may favor a background pony the most, and I don't know about that. But they can choose someone like Derpy or Lyra if they want, but I don't know if they would have the ability to contribute well to this topic. And then there are the people on here who are interested primarily in men, sooo... just make sense of this topic please.

 

My favorite pony is Pinkie Pie, and for my special somepony, I'd like it if he/she liked to reflect his/her inner playfulness like me. :3 So, I'd have to say yes.

I do not, My favourite pony is more chose because of qualities me and her have alike. There is no real love aspect involved in it,

 

But on the other hand, I tend to feel that certain qualities in ponies make them far more interesting and add to their overall standing as favourite pony.

 

I like Rainbow Dash because she strives to do cool things, and be awesome. I like Pinkie Pie because she is playful and fun, I like Fluttershy because she is kind and nice to everyone and Twilight because she is smart and intelligent. However I personally feel that they may be slight exaggerations of themselves, so honestly, you would make me pick one quality over another. While I want all of those to be present.

If there was a pony that was most like my fiancée it would be Rarity.

But I am also most like Rarity.

I like Rarity because I related to her most, also she's so funny and adorable (fanlove attack).

But there are qualities my fiancée shares with all the mane 6, and difference with all of them too.

Some people say opposites attract. I saw they're all morons. Why on earth would I want to date someone who is nothing like me? But as for my favorite pony, yes, she has the qualities I would like in a GF. Fluttershy is nice and quiet, respectful, docile, and other things that I would adore. This is all hypothetical, of course, no one would ever dream of dating me.

That said, I really wouldn't say that Fluttershy is the embodiment of my ideal girlfriend, because it'd just be creepy. Tho, you could say one's favorite pony has the personality of your dream lover, still, I'm just really hesitant to go there because that's bordering on something really really creepy.

Maybe. Rarity's personality is fantastic to me, and I certainly wouldn't mind being with a human girl like her. On the other hand, I don't know if I'd be able to deal with overdramatic antics like hers irl, so I'd say it's about 50/50.

AJ is my favorite, and if I did meet someone a lot like her IRL I would be very happy. But I don't want a carbon copy of a fictional character, that would just be creepy . But someone with a similar personality and work ethic would be great to have as either a BF or GF (being Bi has its advantages )
