Snow 7,019 October 16, 2017 Share October 16, 2017 Well, not quite. If you are referring to Equestria girls, cutiemarks can actually be found on the characters cloths, not bodies. an obvious attempt to keep things kid-friendly of course. Take this random image I found on the internet for example The sides of the first 4 dresses, in rarity and fluttershy's hair, AJ's belt and boots (and you cant see it in this picture but rainbow's cutiemark is on her shirt) 3 beans
strangepigeon 31 October 16, 2017 Share October 16, 2017 Maybe the humans just happen to wear a piece of clothing that matches their pony counterpart's Cutie Mark or something, or maybe the humans choose a piece of clothing that matches their personality, and one of the images on it appears as their pony counterpart's Cutie Mark? I'm trying to think of a good explanation for Cutie Marks in the human world. 2 Check out my website!

But considering humans have a sense of shame they have clothes so we never know.
Snow 7,019 October 16, 2017 Share October 16, 2017 @strangepigeon You have to remember, Ponies are the only species in the MLP universe that have cutiemarks, that isn't to say none of the human versions don't have a special talent, but they use self expression though what they wear to represent themselves, it isn't a symbol that gets earned. 1 beans
Le Trotteur Sauvage 13,051 October 16, 2017 Share October 16, 2017 They do have cutie mark, but on their clothes, so to me, the real question is "how did they discover their cutie mark !?" Did they decide themself what their cutie mark will be ? Did it appear magically ? Did they drawn it ? It's kind of weird because their cutie mark are the same as the pony mane six... so yeah.... good question

Well i guess. But that universe seems magical, they suddently get pony ears and longer hair for some reason so. Example: 4:50. Sunset Shimmer has no cutie mark But at 5:01 transformation complete. Though its on the skirt but maybe its sort of like imprint stuff. Theories. Edited October 16, 2017 by FlowerSun

Feather Scribbles 194 October 21, 2017 Share October 21, 2017 Well, to obviously keep it kid-friendly, they couldn't show the cutie marks on their butts, so they had to improvise by having their attire display the cutie marks of their pony counterparts. But then the question arises: does this mean for every individual person in this version of the human world, are the vast majority of the clothing tailored specifically towards them? Just let that sink in... And how would they earn those "cutie marks"? Maybe they do have them on their butts but we (obviously) never see them? But how do they earn their theoretical cutie marks? Hmm...

Steve Piranha 29,421 October 28, 2017 Share October 28, 2017 Then I guess a slang for going to bed would be "Hey girl, lets show our cutie marks" . Oh well, they wear accessories or clothe stamps matching their pony selves' cutie marks, so they don't likely have butt symbols, just like us ..... then again, we aren't pastel colored either 1 Sig by Discords
