Imagine if one human - just a normal, regular, but very good-natured and selfless individual - somehow ended up in Equestria. What do you think the reaction from the ponies would be upon discovering him/her/them?

If you want an easier question, then imagine if YOU somehow ended up in the pony world. Now... how do you think the ponies would react to finding you there?

lyra might be the first pony to not run away at first, and may even become the first friend: "I don't know, I just felt drawn to it for some reason"

If it's a very good person, rather than the typical human who would probably find an excuse to enslave the ponies, then I think it would go well. We know that even ponies aren't immune to prejudice (ex: Zecora), but it would be pretty fascinating if the ponies were to realize that an alien from another universe is standing in their presence. Twilight Sparkle in particular would probably conduct research on them for years to come, since humans would have been previously unknown to pony science.

Now, if it were me? I don't think I'd want to be picked and prodded by a curious purple mare. But I would try to get along with the ponies. I really would.

Luckily, Twilight Sparkle would know about humans from her time in the human world & assure the denizens of Equestria that I am not dangerous.

I'm not a fan of this kind of topics but there's something I find obvious and nobody pointed out yet.

 

Equestria is a world where a ton of very different mythological beings exist, and a lot (if not most) of these have their own civilization (are as intelligent as humans), and nobody in Equestria really knows all the species that belong to these characteristics. Many of them are told about but a lot haven't even seen by many, or even heard of (communication there isn't as developed as in the real world). A human in Equestria wouldn't be seen as weirdly as an equestrian pony in our world. To them it'd be more like "huh I think I've never seen this species, I will ask X or see if I can find something about it in the library". They wouldn't freak out as if we were aliens.
