Is Sonic 2006 (part of the main series in Sonic Adventure) the worst game in comparison to Sonic Boom: Rise of Lyric (Spinoff Sonic Game)?

That is a tough one. I'm no game critic, so I can't break down exactly what works and doesn't work in each game, but I know which one I enjoyed less. When I played Sonic 06, I disliked it because it felt like it was cheating. The broken gameplay made it hard to understand and harder to beat. I disliked Sonic Boom because everything about just screamed lazy.

I kind of enjoy the Sonic Boom cartoon, so I expected that at least maybe the dialogue would be funny. But it wasn't. The whole game was boring, repetitive, disengaging, and sloppy. I was trying to be positive about Sonic Boom when it was a huge scandal in the Sonic fandom, so it left me feeling very disappointed. It didn't even keep with the tradition of "bad Sonic game, awesome soundtrack".

So in my opinion, Sonic Boom ranks lower than Sonic 06.

What kind of music you like?

Do you have any favorite artists or bands?

I like a variety of music genres, lately mostly electronic.

Adam Young is by far my favorite musical artist. He's most well-known as the creator of Owl City, but he's actually made music under dozens of monikers. It's really fascinating to me, because he started making music in high school in a band called The Perfect Theory (I think). And boy, was he bad.

He wrote the usual kind of songs a high school boy would write: songs about love, freedom, and asking out the girl of his dreams. But as he grew and learned, Adam started experimenting. He started making rock and roll, screamo, rap, and techno on the side (and most recently EDM ), and after a few years of practicing his trade, began uploading them to MySpace, where he got a bit of a following.

Owl City was just one of many projects he started while living in his parents' basement, but it was the lucky one. He signed on to a record label and produced his first professional album Ocean Eyes, which featured the song that propelled him into the public eye, Fireflies. I adore Owl City, and I think I always will, but some of my favorite music from Adam come from his projects Sky Sailing and Port Blue. He also produced covers and a number of instrumentals under his real name while Owl City was growing, because he felt that pressure from his record label was preventing him from being creative (and apparently he wasn't allowed to work on any project other than Owl City).

Whoa. Sorry for the history lesson. I just really like Adam Young. :please: Like, not to be a drama queen or anything, but I seriously wouldn't be here without him. Here are a few songs from him I highly recommend.

Well thank you kindly, and right back at you. :squee:

I don't really have any big dreams. I'm not an ambitious person. Two years ago my idea of "making it" in life was living in a low-cost, drug-infested apartment complex living off of Ramen and working full-time for $7.50 an hour. I've started voice acting, and I admit I love it, but finding paying voice-over work is a real chore. It would be nice if that takes off to a good career, but I'm not counting on it.

Oh that's nice. I hope that you will find a good work in that section or that you will get a good voice actor and get a well paid job where you can do what you love so much.

I wish you the best for your future.
